Drake International - Recruitment Agency - Townsville

Mel was an immense help and so kind while I was working with Drake. They placed me perfectly and I ended up staying on a permanent contract with the place they contracted me to, can't recommend them enough!

Firstly their office has relocated to brisbane and is no longer in townsville, secondly I signed up online and applied for various roles through them only to be ghosted. Is there a problem advising your candidates that their application was unsuccessful?? And you wonder why australia is having trouble finding good workers. Absolutely rotten to the core.

Working for Drake has been a very straight forward thing for me. When there is an opportunity they call me. If I accept they send all the information I need about the job in an email such as the location, who my key contact is, the rate of pay, what uniform I need/PPE etc. If my plans change I simply call up and tell them I can't work, and they just pass the job onto the next person. Simple. If you work hard and have great qualifications you will get more work.Most of the jobs for me so far have been jobs working as an extra staff member on events, or end stage construction to help meet deadlines. The money has been supplementary, but always presented further opportunities for more work. So I would definitely reccomend Drake for anyone looking to find new opportunities.

As a casual placement employee of Drake for almost 3 years, the ongoing issue of being repeatedly blocked from their system, 10 - 15 times, thus not allowing to enter weekly times.Without the personal follow up would simply leave me without pay. I am over having to chase them up, I will never work for this company again, nor would I recommend for any casual.
