Used this laundromat during my stay in Cairns. It's actually not only a coin laundry (the advertisement might be misleading here) it does accept credit card payments as well as payment by mobile (paypont).Washing machines are 10/15/20, cost between 6 and 13 AUD depending on size and temperature and require between 20-25 minutes. As for the tumble driers they typically require 30 minutes of drying time with average load and cost 5 AUD.

Very convenient laundromat in the hotel district. Can pay for machines and soap using cash, by QR code, or using the tap-to-pay system. Had no problems with machines and clothes came out clean and dry. Helpful employee on site as well!Honestly, it’s hard to rate any laundromat 5 stars because it’s never your most enjoyable day when you’re doing laundry. I was very pleased with the experience and the responses to all the negative reviews from the owner had me laughing for hours!

Dryer not working well. Kept opening automatically during operation. Spent 1 hour there and my clothes are still wet.

‘Proudly owned’ we were in there yesterday and the place was grotty and a mess. There was no pride and the pricing is pretty high. $10 wash then $5 dry and didn’t dry everything. Where as Captain Cook Laundromat $4 wash $4 Dry everything ready to wear. Although you need coins is why we went to Express. We’ll be going back to Captain Cook Laundromat.

Stopped in Cairns on a cruise in which washing services were pretty expensive. Came to this laundromat instead and I was in and out with my washing in an hour. Everything can be done with your phone. Would recommend if you have an hour to spare.

Super sketchy woman at counter said she does all the laundry and had all the machines going. She said to leave the laundry and pick it up tomorrow for $50 cash only. Place is a scam and most hotels have machines for guests to use.

No complaints here, I was in and out within an hour. You can pay by coin or credit card if you have data/wifi. The staff working there provided me with change for a large bill. For one large load it cost $3 for soap, $7 for a regular wash and $6 for 36 mins of drying (more than enough).
