Telstra Mornington

My husband and I went into the Mornington store and we were lucky enough to have Christine look after us. She was so patient and kind with my husband and me. Christine set up my husbands new phone for him which has made both our lives far easier.Thank you so much Christine

I visited Telstra Mornington after my mobile phone had been hacked.I found both young gentleman that I spoke with very helpful.My phone had security installed & it was checked over for any other security issues.Well done guys, thank you for your patience.Thanks again.

Awful service. Extremely unfriendly staff, completely lacking basic customer service skills. Was served by Shaun who barely made eye contact, no smile no greeting, didn’t bother to get up to come and meet me just sat waiting in his chair. He didn’t have an answer to a question and made no effort to find an answer until I’d asked him to ask another staff member if he wasn’t able to answer the question himself. Sure enough once we did that we were able to find an answer! No initiative to put the customer first. I can see why they have low google review ratings as their poor service seems to be consistent amongst others’ experience here. They need a decent manager to step up their game here. Very disappointed.

Beau sorted out a bunch of problems, some of which went back years, in the space of 20 minutes. Extremely competent, personable, patient and took time to understand and figure out a solution to the problem. Highly recommend!

I took my elderly father (85 with walking difficulties) into get a new phone (previous one stolen). Customer service was appalling. We were told to make an appointment later that day when there were four staff and no customers in the shop at the time. My father has always been with Telstra until to day when we walked three doors up to Optus and had brilliant service. We said we were not happy that with four staff on hand that we could not be served now and that we would consider Optus, and the service operator said then go to optus if you like"I have now phoned the Testra compliants line and they are esculating this complaint."

I was very happy with my service when coming in to Telstra, I was greeted kindly and the service was quick, organised and satisfactory I manage to have all of my questions answered and I now have a brand-new wonderful phone ready to go thank you for taking the time out boys to help me understand everything there was to know I really appreciate it and give you five stars

4 weeks ago i signed my mother up to telstra for nbn/landline. The supplied gen 3 modem stopped working and would not light up at all (I worked for telstra in the past so performed all troubleshooting steps).I drove to Mornington Telstra and there was a bearded guy and a very tall young kid sitting at the centre table. The young kid (whose id number I have if required) came up and served me. I think he was new as the bearded guy was calling the shots from his chair. He advised me that they can't do anything in store and everything must be done online or over the phone with customer support. I questioned this as it did not seem correct. I also advised that this was for my mother, an 86 year old lady who does not drive, does not get deliveries due to her rural location and also has extremely poor mobile reception at her house. They did not care and refused to do anything. Since this sounded like bad advice i drove to Telstra Hasting. The attendant heard that the modem would not light up, plugged it in, saw that it was dead and straight away performed a replacement. I asked if this is normal practice to perform replacements in store and he advised yes and could only conclude that Mornington must had been too busy. The process took around 5 minutes from when i entered the store to when i left. I'm hoping that morning Telstra store management sees this review and if it was laziness I faced in store that appropriate action is taken. I entered the store at approximately 3:45pm 14 March 2023

Very unhelpful staff. Try to come in to have Telstra phone unlocked. Redirected 213 2200 number and told to seek assistance online. Went to another Telstra shop, and staff member assisted immediately and with Great Results Within 24hrs. Telstra Mornington did not want to conduct assistance because they were making no money off the transaction. Very poor !

Have improved their service and much more friendly/cooperative than in the past.
