Convenient little shop in the Durras village.New owner mid 2018. Daily papers all gone by 0715. Can't order papers. New menu with good range of snacks and pizzas and intending to become licensed. More regular and reliable opening under new operator. 7 to 7 Wednesday to Sunday.

Little town tuck shop. Dont expect anything else. Top bloke though, happy to give u local fishing updates etc. Valuable information is worth its weight in gold so 5 stars and thanks for the tips mate. Those snapper were ripper!

Fish and Chips pack here a bit underwhelming, mainly chips with a few very small pieces of flathead? Was expecting more. Otherwise good for essential supplies and drinks.

FYI: Came here on holiday in early February 2018 and there was a big sign saying 'Permanently Closed' and a for sale sign up. A bit sad seeing as it's the only place in town to go for the basics while on holidays. Giving it 3 stars so if/when it's bought out by a new owner, the store rating isn't in the bin

Unique charm. Only store in the vicinity besides the resort shop. Good coffee. Great deal on renting boards. Seemed like a new idea. Lol.

The problem with this story me store is that all of the owners over the last 30 years, except for one couple, have not run it properly. I don't see why it couldn't work really well if the shelves were stocked, however even over the busiest time of year during the Christmas holidays the shelves are almost empty. It's a fail due to bad management and I hope one day someone will buy this place and run it properly.

You will think you have arrived at south Durras tip when you pull up. Lots of old rusty junk out the front - not very inviting and doesn’t get much better once you step foot in the door. Someone that is fair dinkum about turning it into a decent cafe/general store needs to take it over that has some experience in the industry. Gordon Ramsey if you are reading this I have your next project.
