Don't put your relatives into this place as they will go downhill rapidly. The management is more concerned about appearances than the quality care of their residents. Apparently up until 2015 it was considered one of the best aged care facilities in the Hawkesbury but sadly, it has really changed.

Australian staff are great but the Indians staff leave a lot to be desired. After receiving a call about me ex residing there it took 5 phone calls to finally find out what their call was about. Every time I was disconnected after speaking to an Indian phone receptionist. Very annoying. Was not the first time

My mother was at Hawkesbury Uniting in the hostel for her last 8 months. The staff were superb and always had time to talk to Mum who was well looked after. I recommend this facility.

Discussed with the lack of staff and the fact that all stafg is indian, with no or very limited understanding of English, my mother in law is 94years old and deserves to be cared for with dignity. There is nothing dignified with only be checked on once or twice a day, when you need care. How speaks for the aged, who respects them

Very poor cummunicators in many, many instances - lots of problems. Large number of agency staff used in the 15 months mum was there. In May 2022, facility documented over several days, mum exhibiting many big physical changes - no-one took it further (called an ambulance) or contacted family. It was infact a stroke - family called the ambulance - MANY shifts, including the GP had seen and documented mum's state - no-one acted. Complaint lodged with Aged Care Commission. Clearly a policy and procedure/management problem as many staff had seen and documented changes. Residents are expected to fill out, on paper, menu choices 2 weeks ahead of actually eating the food. I was left to personally meet with and deal with the catering manager re. quality and presentation of food. This topic often came up at family zoom meetings by many other families. At 92 mum shouldn't have had to deal with being give back damp washing and trying to work out how to dry it. Stress level for all concerned DECREASED WHEN MUM WAS HOSPITALISED as a result of the stroke. She ultimately passed away.

A well kept facility with caring, polite staff. Meals are of high standard. Well maintained gardens & common areas. Plenty of activities for residents to be involved in. Plenty of parking for visitors
