Corner Pocket Bar & Grill
Happened across this bar and grill and what an awesome find!! Staff are welcoming and accommodating, the vibes and general feel of the place is very relaxed and then theres all the food and cocktails to choose from! Pizza was absolutely choc-a-block loaded and the cocktails were delightful. Thank you to Megan our waitress and to the rest of the staff for a lovely experience.

We ordered the Omnivore Pizza. Yum! Yum! Yum. Loaded with ingredients vegetables(for me) & meat (for the man) + added BBQ sauce and amazing! Crispy thin base, perfectly cut slices with even amounts of all ingredients on every slice and Ready to eat in half an hour. Finished with the dessert to die for... Sticky date pudding with caramel sauce. I'm in Heaven! Thanks Chris and Mal.

Meals were very nice, each member of our party enjoyed theirs. Staff were lovely to deal with, unfortunately due to staffing meals took a bit longer than normal to come to the table but we were informed of this and staff kept us updated. Any issue we had was dealt with in a quick and professional manner, the owner took the time to come and check that all was ok with our meals which is always appreciated. Will definitely come back on our next visit.

Went here for dinner. My partner had the steak and I went for the loaded fries. Of course a few drinks were added. Loaded fries ended up feeding the both of us. It was the only hot item we received. Said it should have bbq pulled pork and bacon on them but instead it had diced ham. Otherwise, it was fulfilling. The steak we ordered was the rib eye. Came with veggies and mash. As seen in the picture of what was left on the table. The veggies were cold and soggy. The mash was not “creamy” as advertised but a block thick, tasteless, cold mash. Literally pick the whole thing up with the fork. The steak had 3 bites removed from it. My partner had 2 and I 1. I couldn’t eat the one bite I had. It was tasteless and like eating rubber. It was also cold. I’m not sure if this place was having a bad night or what, but I can’t foresee us eating here again.

My partner and I had a thoroughly enjoyable dinner. The meals were very generous in size and the food was delicious. The service was very good. The price was spot on. Will definitely be back.

We came here because Amici was full. The ambient was suitable for kids. Everything was good except for the beef brisket which was too dry (almost jerky style). Other than that everything was nice. The service was friendly and relatively quick on a Friday night.

My husband and I recently visited Corner Pocket Bar + Grill Caloundra, and it was an extremely disappointing experience. The recent change in ownership and lack of staffing have clearly taken a toll on this establishment.Furthermore, the staff seemed overwhelmed and too busy to provide proper table service. It was a struggle to get their attention, and when we did, the service was rushed and inattentive. The lack of staffing definitely impacted the overall experience.The management at Corner Pocket Bar + Grill is the root of the problem. It's evident that they are ill-equipped to handle the demands of the restaurant business. The decline in service quality and the disarray of the establishment make it clear that perhaps they should consider selling it to someone more capable.It's unfortunate that a once-promising venue has deteriorated to such an extent. We had hoped for a pleasant evening but left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. We sincerely hope that the owners address the staffing issues and the overall mismanagement to salvage what's left of Corner Pocket Bar + Grill's reputation.Staff all get 5 stars though.
