I very seldom write reviews but i felt compelled to write one for Sahra’s Kitchen. It’s that good!first time trying Somali food and I asked the lovely man at the counter which meal he would recommend. He told me to try the Kimis Special with chicken. Oh wow I was totally blown away! So much flavour. And the staff were so nice and friendly. I have nothing bad to say about this place. The food was amazing. I’ll definitely be back!

The liver and kidney dishes are too die for if you're into that as I am. Only probs and not the restauran is the Uber drivers who cancel often as I'm in Thornbury.

Fantastic and tasty Somali food. Really good prices too. Incredible mango lassi. I highly recommend this to eat in or takeaway.

So i came here for an experience and i asked the guy for the fav dish he has. I like the combo that i had, but the flavour could be stronger. The fish that i had could be more moist and more tangy. I did like the rice, which is fragrant. This is the 1st ethiopian food that i tried so i cannot compare fairly i guess. Service, however, was excellent and the atmosphere of the place was warm.

First time trying Somali food and it was a great experience. Large portions, flavourful and at a good price. Only issue we had was several things we wanted to order had run out, we would've liked to be able to select options from the whole menu.
