STAY AWAY, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIMEtook my Two year old dog in to be trained as a guard dog when we got there they said the dog needs to do an obedience course first that cost $1200 and takes two weeks. so we agreed and paid. waited 2 weeks, all excited to get our dog trained professionally. and when we went to get the dog, they put the dog on a leash to show us how good they trained him to walk on leash, but we were surprised the dog didn’t walk instead he tried to run to us and pulled on leash so they got a choker chain put it on him and choked him to force him to walk and when we asked why? They said because he is excited seeing you again?? then they asked the dog to sit the dog sat and then went all the way to down position so they chocked him hard and pulled him up to sit position?? when we asked them to get him to sit and stay Scot said no the dog wasn’t trained to Stay??? And we asked Was it meant to be obedience course? Scot said yes but it’s obedience course only on short leash if you want him to stay you need to get another obedience course on longer leash 10M leash that cost another $1200 and after that another course on 15M leash that also cost $1200 and then he will be ready to be trained off leash and again another $1200??? And it was the funniest joke we have ever heard? We ended up getting a choked dog who doesn’t sit, stay, lay down. Come or listen who was coughing for 5 days and we had to take him to vet. when you get your dog in they don’t sign any contract with you or tell you what training exactly the dog will get and how they will train the dog, they won’t ask you to bring paper work from the vet that your dog doesn’t carry any diseases or fleas...etc so any dog with any problems can walk in and effect the other dogs, so unprofessional and really regret taking my dog there just a waste of money and time if someone left a review and i read it would save my money and my time i hope other people check the reviews first before they decide to either go with them or not.

We have sent our German Shepherd to Scott, Jamie & Mason 3 times for different levels of training and each time he comes back a better dog. He loves to train and loves the way these guys do it. We now have an 11mth old dog who is very obedient and responsive. We absolutely could not have done this without the on-going support from the K9 Masterclass team! We still send Murphy here for boarding whenever we need as we know he is well looked after. Couldn't recommend these guys enough!

EXCEPTIONAL TRAINING - HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDScott has transformed the behaviour of my recently adopted rescue German Shepherd into a more disciplined and obedient dog that I can now take walking. Ruby was displaying very little obedience in leash leading, anxiety and potential aggression towards other dogs (all behavioural issues were incongruous with her advertised rescue profile information). As a responsible shepherd owner, it is imperative I have control over Ruby especially around other dogs. Confirmation of her vaccinations being up-to-date were provided prior to her entering the training facility.Ruby attended a two week intensive training course with Scott and she actually stayed for an additional week free of charge to ensure that she fully understood the foundation of her training. Socialisation with other dogs was also an integral part of her daily structure. At hand over it was time for my training so I could skillfully continue Ruby's education.I am greatly indebted to Scott for his professionalism, patience and gentleness in giving Ruby a safe environment to undergo such behavioural changes. My responsibility now is to continue the training at home to reinforce what she has learnt. We are forming a beautiful bond through sharing the training and I have a very healthy respect of Ruby's intelligence.

Price gouging, along with other review concerns. Please think twice and re-consider before you choose this place to train your dog— without your supervision. It takes nothing to put a paid review on the sites and often times they are painfully obvious. This place is very ethically questionable.

I highly recommend Scott and his business, K9 Masterclass. He is professional, ethical, and completely committed to both the dogs’ wellbeing, and dedicated to empowering owners with the tools to build strong, positive relationships with their dogs.We have two boxers - a breed which is much loved, but also notoriously mischievous, and challenging (it’s just one of the reasons why we love them so much!) Both dogs came to Scott with very different needs. One of them we adopted from a rescue group, and had had a very difficult life before we took him in . Also, he is deaf. He was reactive around other dogs in public, and pulled very badly on a lead. He is also very strong , making it difficult to walk him, not to mention stressful. Our goal for Kokoda was to be able to take him out socially with us, as part of our family, with him feeling safe, calm, and not stressed. We felt he deserved that, and although we had made great progress with him in twelve months, we still were not where we felt he derserved to be.Our other boxer is an extremely large, young rambunctious devil :-) We were able to get him to behave at home, with no visitors around - however as soon as there was something/someone more interesting around, all our training went out the window. Because we have had him since a pup, he walked nicely on a lead, but we could not let him off leash, as he would get distracted by every single thing that crossed his path, and he was off!We dropped the dogs off to Scott, where he spent a lot of time talking to us about what he wanted to achieve and how he would be going about things. He demonstrated a correction with one of the dogs, so that we could see how he corrected - we were satisfied that the correction was effective, appropriate, and not traumatic to the dog.We discussed our goals and expectations with him, whether our expectations were realistic. He told us it would be roughly two weeks. We were asked to provide copies of immunization certificates for both dogs., and we discussed diet and nutrition requirements etc.As it turned out, Scott had our boys for almost 3 weeks ( no extra money was charged for this extra time). He remained in constant communication with us throughout this time, sending us videos of their progress every couple of days. The fact that Scott kept the dogs for that extra week speaks so much to why Scott is so amazing. He did not keep the dogs because he was struggling to train them, or that the dogs were untrainable. He kept the dogs because he was genuinely enjoying working with them, and enjoying the challenge of working with them. He achieved the basics with them in good time, but saw potential in Kokoda (the deaf boxer) in particular- and wanted to see how far he could take him - purely out of professional curiosity, and passion for what he does. He and Kokoda developed a really special bond, and I will always be grateful to Scott, for the confidence he gave our boy, and for the doors that he has opened for Kokoda.By the end of their time with Scott, BOTH dogs were walking nicely on short leads, long leads, and amazingly, even off-leash. They both went to Scott knowing Stay, and Down - however now they knew extended Stay, extended Down, and recalls - EVEN OFF LEASH! They were not perfect, but I think it would be unrealistic to expect perfection after only 3 weeks. The thing that has surprised me the most though, is how much deeper our bonds are with both dogs. I always thought my relationship with both dogs was strong - but now, it’s even stronger, and definitely deeper. Both our lives, and our dogs’ lives, have become richer and more rewarding, as our communication has become clearer, and our trust and confidence in each other has grown exponentially. Our dogs are not all the way there yet - no dog would be after 2 or 3 weeks. But our goals are within sight, and every time we work the drills with them or take them out with us, I see those goals get closer, and our relationships grow deeper - $2,300 (for 2 dogs) is such a small price to pay .Thankyou Scott.

What a great result!! My dog Prior to K9 was so hard to control so much so that I was ready to give up on him. Now after being with Scott and his team, he’s a new dog. So happy with Scott’s professional unique approach to dog training. Thanks a lot!!!

Highly rated! I enrolled my Corgi in the K9 Master Class control barking training and after 2 week's training my dog's behaviour has significantly changed for the better! My dog is calm now and really knows and behaves within his boundaries. Scott worked with me to show me every day exercises for my Corgi so that he maintains his good behaviour. After the training my Corgi also has better obedience with his sit, stay, heel commands. I am very thankful for Scott's training, commitment and enthusiasm!

The real deal for your 4 legged Pet!One, Scott understands your pet is only one of the spokes and the owner is the other. His approach addresses Both completelyTwo, Dogs come first, this is a competency for which he can train your family pet and enable you to carry on his foundation.Three, Without Scotts intervention with our dogs, our dogs lives would be limited and constrained. One is deaf which prevented us from enabling him to communicate with us and for us to enable him to be safe, responsive in public, and have a quality of life. Since Scotts training, our deaf boxer is able to communicate with us, isnt tense in new environments, responses with ease and lives a complete stress free life now. and we as parents are able to do so as well. Our other boxer, has excelled in obedience in maturity, in overall behavior!!!He has enabled our pets to be the best they can be and achieve, grow and mature by setting foundations with them and enabling us as humans by providing the tools to continue on! Without this approach our four legged friends are left with no leadership, no direction, and will make decisions based on that.In short remember its up to us as pet owners to extend and continue on with Scotts foundational elements. Since our dogs have left the training, Scotts passion, conviction and commitment has been demonstrated time and time again as he has made himself and his staff available for clarifications, guidance, and more making himself available always. He doesnt only train, he partners with you and that partnership is maintained as long as we play an active roll within it! Thank you to K9 Masterclass for enabling our dogs to have a freedom and stress free life and enabling us as their keepers to enable our family to achieve all. RespectfullyJC Davis

Jamie has turned my dog into something that I could only dream of! Our dog was out of control, we couldn’t take him anywhere. Now it’s like a whole new dog!
