I go there for Poetry in the Pub, Every second Sunday from 2 to 4. Older participants but younger ones welcome. Corner stage, microphone and your poetic creation. Good pub fare and great coffee.

Friendly helpful staff, very generous portions. We had osso bucco and chicken schnitzel. Bistro is comfy and nicely decorated. Wine by the glass is good value and delivered in a flash. Is it 5-star food, prob not but I have absolutely no complaints so they get 5 stars from me. Plus we could walk in on a long weekend.

Came for dinner after a trip to the Wentworth Falls, wasn’t expecting more than standard pub-grub but it was far beyond our expectations! 3 kids burgers and 2 adult chicken with creamy sauce. Great friendly service too, will definitely come again!

Right in the heart of Katoomba. On the car near the bridge. Amazing food, staff are very friendly. All kinds of drinks hot & cold. Old fashioned atmosphere. Parking in side street is the best option. Very close to the railway station. Did I mention the great food.

Bistro was amazing. Greeted by a very friendly welcoming host who couldn't attend to my needs more.Start to finish superb. One of the best meals I've had. Drinks are amazing.I didn't stay at the hotel.I stopped and had dinner.

Stayed overnight on a Saturday in March. Nearby free onstreet parking. Keys collected quickly from the bar. Rooms were recently refurbished and included a queen bed + a single bed, powerful AC, plentiful towels, toiletries, fridge, tea + coffee facilities, TV and clothes rack. Cleanliness was good. Didn't notice any noise from bar downstairs, even with live music playing. Would stay again if in the area

We have dined at the Family Hotel Bistro two times now and have found the food to be excellent and very reasonably priced.Very friendly quick service and nice dining ambiance.Very highly recommend.

My friends and I came to this pub for dinner on our first night staying in the Blue Mountains. We were served all night by the lovely Kylie, who provided the absolutely loveliest service with a smile. The food was delicious and such generous portion sizes. Will definitely be returning!
