This is a really nice casual option (not easy to find in the wine region) - the small plates are great and the wine is decent. You can get a table as a walk in, but you will be jealous of the good tables outside with the views. Little pizzas at the perfect size - polenta chips crunchy and tasty. Service very friendly.

A delightful winery experience. We each enjoyed a custom flight of wines as well as the Feed Me option for four. There was plenty of nicely-prepared food. Our only suggestion would be to put the table by the kitchen out on the terrace and, instead, move one of the barrel on the terrace in beside the kitchen (guests appear to do tastings only or wait for dining tables at the barrels so wouldn’t be long by the kitchen clatter). Otherwise, our visit here was a highlight of our wine tour of the region.

Walk up dinners are catered for at this winery eatery and usually you can get a seat within 20 mins-30 mins. We had a personalised tasting while waiting for a table and enjoyed all the wines, the lady serving us was very knowledgeable and helpful, I would recommend you do this if you have 15mins. We were seated at a table on the verandah and decided to have the leave it to us at $45, we both thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the highlight for me being the mussels. I highly recommend morning sun and will certainly be returning.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch here recently, shared with a few close friends. We all were very impressed with the service and the knowledge of our waiter, he gave us a detailed explanation of the difference between the wines on offer, it made choosing much easier.I cannot fault the food, the best thing we did was to order the leave it to us" tasting plates. A little bit of everything

We came here for lunch without booking and was very pleasantly surprised by their warm hospitality and professionalism. We were very pleased with our find - great casual food, wine and spectacular vineyard scenery!!! This has become our favourite vineyard, thank you Morning Sun, you’ve made our day!

My sister and I came here on Easter Sunday, no bookings required and it was amazing. Fantastic down to earth service, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We did a wine tasting then had a glass with their beautiful food pairings amongst stunning vineyard veiws . It was a perfect afternoon. Thank you, We will be back.

Stopped over this winery impromptu on the way home from Rye from a girls trip and it did not disappoint! I’ve heard of this place from Foxeys (another winery I have been to plenty of times and love!) as they do some of their wines and the food. We did a flight tasting of 3 and the service from our sommelier was top tier - he was so knowledgable of all the wines and had such a calming nature. Anytime I do a tasting I always wish to learn as I do love wine. My favourite was the Field Blend which I ended up purchasing. The ambiance was so beautiful and relaxing. Had such a pleasant time with my girls, will defs be coming back for a full tasting!

We had the “tapas” menu $45ea and the wine taster 3 wines. Very pleasant under the shade of a grapevine with an espalier apple tree stopping the wind. Excellent service. Parking on a gravel stretch under trees. There were no kids but I am sure you could take them. I didn’t check the menu for kids or seniors so you should ring first.

Our group of 6 had a wonderful long lunch at Morning Sun on the weekend. We chose the feed me option shared plates paired with the morning sun Chardonnay and Pinot. The quail dish a highlight.A very relaxed venue with a great feel. Staff very attentive and knowledgeable. Which resulted in bottles purchased. Good coffee too. Choosing to sit inside or outside is a bonus. Will be back.
