I have been coming to Shu-Fix for years and always have a pleasant experience. I never had to return any items that were repaired. Being greeted and remembered by staff is pretty awesome, it gives that personable touch.

changed a battery here for the Mercedes car key. Various issue starts to happen with the key after the change of the battery and the key completely stopped working after a few months - due to the quality and the model of the key battery been replaced according to Mercedes staff. Spent 1500 to get a new key. Nice:)

Shu-fiks were very helpful and honest in regards to the battery not being flat in my car keys. Gave me practical advice and calmed me down. Didn't charge me and were kind. Will definitely recommend and come back for other things in future.

I asked how much it is to fix a car remote battery, says $20 and I confirm him saying $20?He says come back in 10-15mins.. but I waited there...Finishes and he says $30 - I must have misheard him he says.Energizer battery $10. 2 minutes of work $20.Yep customer is wrong. Wouldn't have given him this job for $30.$20 I found reasonable - you can take the battery back if you want.

My RM Williams boot was in need of repairs and I usually get them done through RM Williams, but their repairs service is currently unavailable. Thought I’d give the local repairer a shot, so I dropped them off here for a half re-sole and heel replacement.Turned out perfect, they also polished up the boot and fixed up some imperfections on the heel. Thank you for the excellent workmanship!PS - to all the other reviewers complaining about cost to change a battery - get off your lazy a** and do it yourself, otherwise pay the price you were quoted and agreed to.

Massively overpriced. Charged $15 for a watch battery which Officeworks sells for $3.97. I should have known better. Will not make that mistake again

I went there Rhodes and dropped off a pair of boots to have the heel built up new heel and sole. The guy rang me and told me they were ready. I went and picked them up and found only the heel was done. The guy told me it would be extra for the sole. I paid $80 for the heel. When I got outside I found the workmanship to be poor. I went back to the guy and told him the quality of his work was poor and I would be disputing/cancelling the transaction with my bank. I did that. Poor quality work would not recommend to go there. If I could score no stars I would have done that

Incredibly expensive for the work they do. Charged $20 to do a bracelet resize, something that costs a fraction by watch repair shops (or free at point of sale). They have a localised monopoly" as they are the only shop in the suburb that does watch repairs

Asked for a Lexus key diagnostic was quoted by another company $550 over the phone, these guys fixed it for $20 turns out needed a new battery. Very friendly and quick service! Would definitely go back for any key cutting etc.
