Australia Post - Belconnen BC

Absolute worst post office. I have always made sure I am home to receive any parcels I order. There seems to be a trend of the delivery team not even attempting a delivery. I've never once heard a knock at the door, or the doorbell get rung, without the courtesy of even leaving a pickup slip. Absolute disgrace to the Australia Post brand name.

Please extend your hours to include Saturday! I had no idea I had a parcel delivered, as there was no note left. On further investigate I know it’s at this office - but I work full time the same hours your office is open. Quite frustrating.

The worst thing in Australia is receiving parcels. And as a full time worker, how can I collect my parcel during the same trading hours?

Does Australia Post actually read the reviews? Look all the complaints this centre is receiving, is there anything Australia Post is doing to address these feedback?We are from Sydney. I ordered a gift for my son, to be delivered to my parents house here. My parents were at home waiting all day, no knock, no door bell rang, no call on mobile, no card left at door, only a sms late in the afternoon advising parcel needs to be picked up from this post office.Unfortunately I am not local and was not expecting post office not opening on Saturday morning here.We arrived Canberra last night (Friday). This morning, 24th December, a Saturday, I learnt the truth the centre is closed with no other way of picking up the Xmas gift for my son.Tomorrow is Xmas day, centre closedMonday is Boxing Day, public holiday centre closedTuesday is public holiday, centre closed and we have to drive back to Sydney.Merry Christmas to you too, Australia Post. Please hear us and have a look at your delivery services.

Well the reviews say it all.Bad bad service.Rude staff, with zero customer service and no people skills.Get there like the rest of Belconnen (after work) and the queue is out the door and up the street.To make matters worse the contractor often don’t attempt a proper delivery and your then forced here to collect your packages.Australia Post delivering a 3rd class postal service with 1st class pricing.

Just submitted a complaint to Australia Post regarding the rudest phone call received today in relation to why I hadn’t collected a parcel I had no idea was at this post office. No slip or anything provided and just an angry call. I asked them to hold it till I return in a week from holidays, got told no it’s going to be returned to sender and hung up on. Unacceptable customer service.Update- response from Australia Post online’s customer service was excellent, suggest others use this route.Also have had instances where no card or slip was left. And note the opening hours, they need to be open early, late and at least a half day on Saturday.

No comment. Why don’t just change management ?I have been all day home and nobody rang or knocked on my door. The delivery man straight away took the parcel to the post office. He didn’t even leave the card (attempted deliver) in the mail box.And I have to waste time to go to get the parcel myself and stay in a long queue.I sent a complain e-mail to the post office.Unbelievable

Constantly refuse to accept packages from a particular courier - unacceptable when paying for a suite number to be able to have all packages delivered.Completely unhelpful and often rude staff, seems they’d rather do anything else than accept responsibility or give an actual explanation. I think I’d fall over in shock if I actually received some kind of actual decent customer service. The reduced opening hours are a joke. Even 1 star seems too generous for what is possibly the worst PO in Canberra.

Line of forty plus people up the street with one semi literate slow worker on duty what an absolute joke. Either close it as a parcel office or open it at decent hours 9 to 6 is useless for everyone involved

I don’t come here very often now that Australia Post seems to have lost most of its market share of the parcel delivery business to courier companies, who can actually leave a parcel at its delivery address. At the counter, they will take online shopping returns which use Australia Post, but can not issue a lodgement receipt like a regular post office.This has never seemed like the place where AusPost sends its best and brightest. Graffiti & wasp nests now adorn the building, but the large camelia in the nicely designed garden bed on the corner suggests that an architect once conceived of this place as a piece of civic infrastructure.5-minute parking out the front, 2-hour parking across the street, but also AusPost has some off-street customer parking next to Bridgestone.
