Sydney Tools Bayswater

Customer service is pathetic and almost non existent. Knowledge of certain tools isn’t the best either. Total Tools down the road won me over.

After a 5 star experience at Pakenham sydney tools i was shocked to see their bayswater counterpart was nothing to compare. Poor customer service. When asking a question about one of their products, was looked at like something was wrong with me. Ego and nothing else from sales. Then when asked if they can discount their full price the answer was also no. After receiving much help and a real decent discount at Pakenham, I know this store can do better.

Went in knowing exactly what I wanted, but was essentially ignored by every staff member I approached.Product I needed was on a shelf 2m off the ground. First employee said he needed to help someone else first, that's fine. I waited ~8 minutes and couldn't even see who he was helping, so I decided to figure it out myself. Had to run around the store and find a ladder to sqeeze through the walkway and grab the product down. After that, I went up to the register and neither of the staff members looked up from their computers. What a joke. So awkward and unhelpful. God forbid I might've needed advice on something.

Incredibly easy to deal with, extremely helpful, and - while I'm sure my name was being cursed after the fact - my online order was modified easily and with more help than I had any right to get, before it had even arrived (my own stuff-up).Save yourself some trouble and head in rather than buying online, cos it's rare to get such good advice or assistance.Highly recommended.

Ordered a bunch of items including a welding kit. Major delays in items arriving and was only provided with one update and had to keep ringing the store to find out the status of other items.After the welder arrived I went to pickup and when I got home I realised they had gave me the wrong welder kit. The welder I was given was worth several hundred dollars more but I returned it to the store on my own time. When the correct model was swapped over, I returned home only to find the gauges were damaged and had to travel back to the store again to have them replaced.After more than six months several items paid for had still not arrived in store so I cancelled the order and asked for the balance to be refunded to my bank account. This never occurred even though I contacted the store multiple times, each time being told just to wait and check next week and follow up with head office.I contacted head office and they stated to check bank account more carefully as it had been refunded but couldn't provide a reference number or more information as they no longer have access to their old system.Unimpressed with the service provided, lack of communication and resistance to providing a refund. Stated I'd receive a call from the manager of the store but never contacted.

I'm a deaf man. Walked to the shop on the 14/4/23. The old guy yelled at me and pointed outside and I don't understand what he talked about. So I went outside go to total tools

Spoke to Travis today, knew exactly what I wanted placed the order pick up tomorrow. What more could you ask for.Travis, legend bloke thanks for everything

These guys are terrible. Tried to return a product still in original packaging with receipt and they said their system was hacked and couldn’t process return. Came back at later date and they refused again. After speaking to others many people have said they are terrible with warranty and or returns. Shop elsewhere they are useless.

Some of the products don’t even have price tickets, there’s a4 pricing stands that are from last catalogue that the staff wouldn’t even change for me, technically I could’ve got the product for the ticket price as there was no date of anything but couldn’t be bother causing a fuss, there’s products, hooks, and other random staff all over the floors, tripping hazards absolutely everywhere. Other than that, huge range of tools and brands which is great
