My new plantation shutters look absolutely amazing. They were installed on time and the installer was very professional. The shutters have not only improved the appearance of my house but increased its value. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a new look for their home.

I love my plantation shutters which I purchased from Apollo Blinds Coffs Harbour. Their receptionist, Wendy, is so very helpful, however, their after sales service is poor! Given a time to turn up to fix blinds which were not fitted properly in the first place and they were 2 hours late with no reasoning, phone call or apology. It also took months after installation to get them back. If I had known this I would have gone elsewhere. Buyer beware.

Absolutely terrible I would never recommend Apollo Coffs Harbour. The installation was absolutely appalling. The guys that installed our blinds didn’t predrill any of the architrave therefore they all cracked & split, I couldn’t get any manager or sales rep back to look at the mess they made just sent them back with spakfilla to try to bog it up then left me to purchase paint & do that myself. Had to wait 2 weeks for them to return only to split the timber again . I will make sure all my family & friends don’t ever use Apollo blinds we are so sorry they ever stepped foot into our house.

Just finished our Job /Fantastic service from office staff and guys who fitted outdoor shutters / (also the measure and Quote) have used this company for many years for different products and like this time can't fault them / we actually don't bother contacting anyone else We Highly Recommend

I've never felt so inclined to write a review and a negative one at that but I was so shocked and appalled by the customer service we received from Apollo Blinds, Awnings & Shutters Coffs Harbour.We ordered two sets of plantation shutters for our daughters bedroom windows.The whole process from quote to installation has taken 9+ months. It has been a hassle from the start with cancelled appointments to poor communication and zero follow up. I have had to chase them at every turn to find out what is happening with our shutters as things did not go smoothly with the install and replacement parts had to be ordered.Finally I was hoping the issue would be resolved but a no show for the appointment that they had confirmed by email the week prior. No follow up or apology, instead the following week two Apollo installers show up without prior notice and decide to let themselves into my home whilst I was in the bathroom. I was in disbelief to walk down my hallway to see two men standing in my daughter's bedroom when I was not expecting them nor had I invited them in. I called the office and spoke with Wendy who seemed to have no idea what was going on but still made excuses for the staff members actions.My husband tried to contact Sonny (Manager) on his mobile numerous times but has not answered not returned his calls. The installers who showed up announced took the pins out of the shutters and did not tell us. We only noticed when my husband went to close them as they almost fell out of the frame. Grateful it was my husband and not my daughter and that he caught them in time. Many calls to sort out the installation of the missing T post and return of the pins have gone unanswered. Then finally I received an email to say that Sonny would be coming to install the T post. No apology, no recognition of the poor behaviour displayed by their staff. Sonny arrived when scheduled but with no pins, no mention of the haphazard prior visit and 'seemingly' unaware of it when my husband explained what had happened. Sonny promised to return the pins that are missing in our letter box the next day but till this day he has not and continues to ignore calls.To say the company's communication and follow up is poor is an understatement. I would advise you to steer clear of Apollo Blinds, Awnings & Shutters Coffs Harbour and take your business to another local retailer such as Coffs Harbour Blinds & Awnings, whom I wish I had accepted the quote from instead. There was a small price difference but the service and staff that I experienced are far superior to Apollo's.If the staff from Apollo do actually take the time to read this, I would like you to return the pins that you took within the next week otherwise I will be forced to take further action.

Rarely do I write a negative review but I was disgusted at the attitude of Apollo Blinds Coffs Harbour. I ordered external blinds to be 're-skinned' mid May and after waiting 2 months and 2 failed attempts to install due to light rain falling, was told I hadn't made the final payment and the job would not proceed until full payment had been received. I was reluctant to pay as there would be no incentive for them to finish the job. I was told that the installation contractor would book me in for the 'next available' rather that the next sunny day (which I thought should be the correct procedure as it was only a quick instal). I was pressured into paying as that was the only way I would get the blinds and eventually the job was done mid September - 4 months after deposit was paid.I noticed the new 'skins' are not quite as wide as previous, exposing the ends of the hardware a total of about 8cm. Also there are 2 screws which protrude for some reason as seen in the photos. The pre tension is way too light making it difficult to open the blinds easily.I haven't bothered contacting Sonny (the manager) as his obvious lack of customer care has already become apparent. What a disappointing experience and as I said to him 'maybe your attitude will change when business quietens and you are wondering why your competitors are still thriving.

AVOID at all cost. They ordered the wrong colour and insisted on installing and then rectifying. They refused to resolve. Local bloke shouted down my 72 year old wife intimidating that she had actually ordered it when the invoice and order paperwork showed she was correct. Head office sided with local store. Had to take them to the Tribunal where we won and then had to find & pay a painter to remove, spray correct colour and reinstall. AVOID Coffs Harbour store or you too will be very disappointed.

Quality and price is good, the only thing that seems to let them down is their very average customer service. Hard to get a prompt response at times, poor phone service and no warm fuzzies when you call through with questions or issues.
