Sezar Restaurant
Small restaurant in a little alleyway. The food was good. We had the 5 course chefs selection.I would recommend the lamb shoulder. The portion size was great and well cooked. The dessert tasting plate needs improvement. Ideally have the items individually served on the plate rather than one bowl to share between all the guests. The chocolate ganache had a bit too much salt.Baklava and parfait was average.

Went with some friends to try Armenian food for the first time and was not disappointed. The flavours are phenomenal and the portions are generous. The wine was beyond our expectations, and the staff there were extremely knowledgeable on not only the wines flavours, but on the vineyards themselves.Couldn’t fault the service, it was attentive and warm, we felt well looked after and had a great laugh with them as well. You have to come and try it out, there’s no better fine dining venue with a wholesome family touch.

Booked Sezar after recommendations from friends who raved about it. Lovely, moody ambiance and great service. The food was good, but my least favourite dish was the lamb shoulder. Expected it to be soft, off the bone but it was more on the chewier side with a sweet sauce that was not for me. However, loved the other dishes that we ordered - hummus and baklava.

Lovely restaurant, great service. We ordered their famous spanner crab manti, we didnt expect it to have a texture like a dumpling but it just melted in your mouth.Got the slow roasted lamb shoulder (the waiteress said it was recommended for 3-4 servings) as this comes with choices of 2 side dishes which we ended up ordering a triple cooked chips and fattoush salad (lovee these 2 side dishes as well)We finish of with new style baklava which is a twist of traditonal baklava as they put walnut toffee ice cream in between the pastry layerOverall recommended!

Always a fantastic night at Sezar. The food is consistently excellent and you always leave feeling completely satisfied. The lamb ribs are a highlight along with the hummus and bread combo. If I could eat here every day I would be very happy indeed.

If you're looking for a restaurant that combines outstanding food, excellent service, and an elegant atmosphere, then Sezar Melbourne is the place for you. From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting ambiance that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu is a blend of traditional Armenian cuisine with a modern twist, offering a range of dishes that are bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Each dish is carefully crafted with the freshest ingredients, and you can taste the quality in every bite. For the starters, we had the Snapper Tartare served on rice crisps is a great starter option, it was flavourful and had an amazing texture. The Spanner Crab Manti is another standout dish, with delicate flavors and a beautiful presentation. The Charred Broccoli Skewers are an excellent vegetarian option that adds a nice touch of smokiness to the meal.Moving on to the main courses, the Roast Hapuka is a fantastic choice, with perfectly cooked fish and flavorful accompaniments. The Slow Roasted Lamb Shoulder was another excellent option, it was well cooked and delicious. Having the server do the separation of the meat at the table was a nice touch also. It was also served with a side of triple cooked potatoes and a fattoush salad.Lastly, the New Style Baklava is a must-try dessert that perfectly balances sweetness and nuttiness. It's a creative take on a classic dessert that is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.Overall, Sezar Melbourne is an absolute gem, with outstanding food, service, and ambiance. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Sezar Melbourne earns an easy 5/5 rating from us.
