This was my first time with Maurice and I'm over the moon I was able to get an appointment. Maurice is a great personality who comes across as genuine, honest and knowledgeable about his trade.The haircut itself was outstanding - my girlfriend even mentioned it was the best she's seen my hair since we've been together! I cannot speak highly enough of Maurice and his establishment. Amazing service from a genuine master of his trade.

I’m a flight attendant and have visited many barbers in my travels around the world. I stumbled across Maurice after a quick google search in my area and he was thankfully able to fit me in. As soon as I’d sat down Maurice knew the type of cut that would suit my specific type of hair (curly and very thick). This knowledge I assume has come from his many decades in his position and also having an understanding of the different cuts and variations through the years. When I tell you this has been the best haircut I’ve ever had this is not an exaggeration and the even more excellent part about it is that I barely made any prompts, just accepted that whatever Maurice would come up with if be more than happy with. Will definitely be back should I be lucky enough to have a layover in Melbourne again.
