Zero customer service. Refusing to refund a faulty item that caught fire. Lucky nobody was injured, not that they could care less. Took a follow up email and days later for a pathetic reply stating refunds aren’t given unless the item is returned within two weeks of purchase. Dirk needs a refresher course in communication and Australian Consumer Laws.Whoever Dirk is within the company should be happy to have a job as I would add him to jobseeker in a heartbeat. He is a detriment to your business and costing you customers. I will never buy from nor recommend CTA to anyone.In times where some businesses are struggling and needing support. Put your money toward one that is decent and honest.After this review was posted the Manager Josh called to say he would only offer a refund if I removed my review. I declined.

One of the worst businesses I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. Terrible service and communication, and completely rubbish business processes. The basically sold me a fridge cover online that they didn’t actually have in stock, then closed the order after sending the matching fridge - I had to call and email them repeatedly to try to work out what was going on. Over the next 4-5 months I had to continue calling while they kept telling me that it would be delivered soon, but always failing to follow up or keep in touch. I eventually had to change the delivery address, then change it again several more times (the same new address, they just never actually changed it) before they eventually guaranteed that it would be sent a few weeks ago - no surprise, it went to the wrong address! They eventually agreed to a refund after several requests, but after 5 months, several emails and many, many phone calls to chase up a sale that never should have happened, I would certainly recommend one of the many other outdoor retailers out there.

I will never deal with this company again. I had purchased a kids room for an Ezytrail Albany Z Mk2 and had to return it in July 2022 because it did not fit the camper. I supplied proof of purchase from our credit card provider as we no longer had the receipts, and was advised by their manager that he would have to get their accountant to find the original (paper) receipt in their archives before he could do a refund. Never happened. I was then required to bring in our camper (150km round trip)so that they could verify the kids room did not fit, despite the photos I supplied clearly showing it did not fit. It was the end of August before I had my money returned and only after I rang the manager to determine what was happening (before advising NSW Fair Trading to proceed with my claim). I was advised by the manager that he had approved payment and would check. Never in the 4 months of this claim were my emails or phone messages responded to by the manager and the only time I got any communication was when I was able to get the manager on the phone. Not an easy thing to do as he was always busy, and leaving messages was not an option as the calls were never returned. Customer service is really dead at this business.IN REPLY TO OWNER'S RESPONSEAt the risk of labouring the point. I misplaced the tax invoices but supplied proof of purchase in the form of credit card statements, which according to NSW Fair Trading, is all that is legally required.It took 12 months to find out that the product was unsuitable due to Covid. You have to set up the whole camper to attach the kids room, and the last week of the autumn 2022 school holidays was the first opportunity we had to get away. You also failed to mention it took you 11 months to obtain the product for me, due to CovidAs far as going in to bat for me with your supplier, I purchased the product from you, not your supplier, and should not have had to wait for you to be reimbursed, by them, to receive my refund.The whole point is that your sales team have poor communication skills leading to poor customer service.I have to include this reply to clear up the picture you have painted, that it was my fault that this situation occurred.

I ordered the wrong size, returned the item after speaking with someone there, meanwhile I ordered and paid for the correct size item online. Never got refunded for the item I returned, after sending multiple emails and calling. Value was to low to bother with fair trading and to hassle them more. They are on my black list.

Ordered some drop down legs 5th August, has still not arrived 27th September, for delivery to Sydney.Company are blaming covid and Auspost, Auspost are blaming dodgy packaging and loose items.Company takes no initiative to contact or provide feedback on pending delivery without customer calling or emailing first. Even then only every second email is replied to and never had a call back.Atrocious customer service.They may have the best or very competitive prices, but the rest of their service is very lack luster.(I have ordered from a competitor across the border in Queanbayan, and had the goods in 4 days!)

Incredibly good customer service. My old poly block hitch had failed and I had decided on a McHitch Auto Coupler. Tried buying direct from manufacturer, called them and they couldn't have cared less about getting it out of their warehouse ahead of a public holiday, meaning I'd likely not have it in time.I called TCA, explained that I had a trip booked and needed to get the McHitch ASAP. They booked it same day TNT, called me back with the consignment number and I had it before I could even check the tracking. Really friendly over the phone and followed through with what they said after I placed the order online. Thank you!

Thank you to Peter and the team for exceptional pre and after sales service. We made many trips to the showroom prior to putting down a deposit, including an impromptu visit where Peter allowed us to help set up the Lincoln to understand what was involved. Future trips to measure storage and discuss the trailer during the build were never a problem for the team at Trailer Camper Australia. They also facilitated the trailer brake wiring of our car during this time.Our blue Lincoln arrived earlier than advised, and the team had registration and the pre-delivery check done in record time to allow us to head out a week early.Since the purchase we have had further advice when requested, with nothing being too hard. Fantastic service and support. A great business to deal with. Thanks Peter and the team at TCA.

I can honestly say I was shocked at the level of customer service I received for what should have been a simple warranty claim. In fact I only received any action when I lodged a chargeback with my credit card provider. In my personal opinion this company should be avoided. If you want to ignore this advice I'd suggest using a credit card for payment as the chargeback facility provides a powerful mechanism to enforce your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Been waiting months for a refund as I bought a duplicate item whilst Amptron checked the original. Now 2nd one has failed. They didn't return phone call either. Now spent $650 for a $325 charger and it is not working.If they ring me now and fix the problem I will reverse the feedback.

Just purchased an Enerdrive ePower 2600watt Inverter with auto AC transfer from Trailer Camper Australia. Found their pricing very competitive. The service and advice from the Store manager, front desk retail person and the person in the stockroom, who has fulfilled my order, to be very good and will definitely deal with this company again if the need arises
