Melbourne Fencing Specialists

Our back and side fences at home were over 20 years old and made of wood. Some heavy winds and bad weather had deteriorated them over time and it was time to have them replaced. Melbourne Fencing Specialists came out and quoted the job. They had two guys come and remove the old fence, dispose of it, and build our new colour bond fences. They did all of that in just 3 days! Very professional, polite and hard working. I recommend Melbourne Fencing Specialists for your fencing needs! This is a shout out to Dan who saw my previous negative review and has been working very hard since then to rectify all the issues I had in my fence.He organised a professional/licensed carpenter to rebuild it, and the result was just above expectations. He showed a very high level of support, and was very accommodating. I consider myself lucky to deal with Dan, and I will recommend you to everyone!Thank you so much, this has been a burden for sometime and now we are very happy and proud with the result. Simply put you managed to change our experience from disastrous to absolutely fantastic which shows your level of professionalism.

Highly recommend Melbourne fencing specialists. Had my side fence replaced and Alysha and Erin in the office updated me constantly throughout, very friendly staff and Dan answered all of my questions on time. We had Mahdi and his team install our new fence and the job was completed on time and it looks amazing. Would definitely use them again!!!

All I can say is WOW! What a fantastic result using MFS. From quotation to installation we were kept updated along the way. I do not recommend this company.We got our colorbond fence installed by this company. Process started Nov 2021 when we paid our deposit.Installation was done late March 2022. We have the fence and two gates installed.After installation, I inspected the fence and there were some scratches on the panels which was then spray painted - it looked worse. They have replaced this around May 2022. The rubbish was collected this time (sat there uncollected for almost 2 months).I have also reported the gate is getting stuck and is unusable. They tried to fix this multiple times. Each time someone tried to fix it, it was a different person.First, they moved the hinge so that it will be further from the other post. That didn't work, next person cut the locking mechanism's plastic bit so that it doesn't hit the post. That didn't work as well. After a couple of tries one of the contractors cut the actual gate so that it is smaller.I was fine with it even though the actual door doesn't look good anymore, it has holes, it is not a straight rectangle now, it has shorter width at the top and longer at the bottom. As long as it closes.. but no, after all the workarounds, it was still getting jammed.This back and forth happened from May to October 2022 until the ex-owner of the company arrived and said he'll get the gates fixed. I also showed him the space between the fence posts where it is wide enough to peek in/out the hose. That was the last time I heard from him, he never got back to me.Now it is May 2023 and I never heard from them again. Less than 1 year installed, both two of the gates installed are jamming. I need to strongly push the post for them to open.Again, I do not recommend this company.

I would not recommend this business if they are still operating as they were 3 years ago. I hired them back in Sept 2017 via hipages and only prompted to review on return to the hipages platform. They were quick to quote but then delayed for months on end. Definition of over-promising and failed to deliver. In the end, it was delayed by close to 6months later than promised. We suspect they were short-staffed and subcontractors were incredibly unreliable with poor workmanship. Personal experience: would avoid unless you have lots of time to chase them around.(Attached photos: Work site left in messy manner. Empty Redbull cans. I also found and cleared many nails and other hazards which was a real concern as I let my then puppy roam our backyard)

Used them before with good results and value for money. Since Covid, not the same quality and response. Perhaps taking too many jobs at once or not enough qualified trades. But for the cost one is expecting a decent service.

The process for the quotes were online and easy to follow. The job was completed within the time frames set by the company. The two fencers who came to do the job were friendly and easy to talk to. The did a fantastic job and I was very pleased with the quality of the finish. Highly recommend this company.

Highly recommend. Replaced an old wooden screen fence and single gate with a Colourbond fence with double gate and the result was fantastic. Very friendly service and high-quality build. Sammy the installer was amazing. Already had 2 neighbours asking who built the fence so they could get theirs replaced. A+ team.P.S Paint your sleepers before installation :D
