Eumundi RV Stop Over

It had little to offer except being nestled in some lovely hills. This town had no butcher or supermarket. I had to buy some simple sausages 6 in all, from the only petrol station for$7.60.The attendant there was rude and unfriendly which made our experience worse. People can either make or break a small town.

Very clean facilities but powered sites are very close together and on gravel. Excellent access to Eumundi markets but must be here preferably a day before to get a site. $20 for powered site, and at time of booking, unpowered $15.

A good flat site very close to town. It is imperitive you book online before you turn up or phone. The phones and site is only manned between 3 and 5 pm, so do not turn up out of those hours because you cannot get in at all. There is only a small toilet block with 1 male toilet and shower and 1 female the same, but they are clean and modern. No other washing facilities. There is a huge, well known market next to the campsite (which doubles up as the car park on market days) on Saturday mornings until 2pm, so book early if you want to go to it. It's very impressive and popular - the car park starts filling up at 6.30 am on Saturday mornings!The negative is the very muddy site when it's wet weather - not a pleasant walk to and from the showers and numerous people who arrive early on Saturday morning and walk near your van to get to the market or toilets, looking in while you're having breakfast or getting ready!

After reading all of the reviews we were quite worried to go here, however on a arrival we met the volunteers that make this a possible stop. People must remember that a Volunteer that is checking you in is just that -a Volunteer. Hence the limited check in times 3-5pm daily! This was a clean RV Stopover with some amenities blocked off for only for paying RVs. We found there was plenty of room for our 21 foot Caravan and large towing car allowing us to remain hooked up. Water is available to fill tanks but not in the sites. Recommend filling tanks before arrival as it gets busy (especially on market mornings). Overall this is a slightly overpriced but clean and safe RV stop that achieves all needs.

Check in is the same time as school finishes for the day... Need to changed 3pm check in...Don't expect to put your awning out... Not going to happen... Toilets and showers just pass for cleanliness...

Just a car park essentially with a reasonable toilet and shower block. The shower was quite average - low pressure and flow.

The wikicamp description says boom gates shut at 6pm during December, but they're not even open during the day on the Friday in December that we arrived.It looks like even though they charge caravan Park prices, they only allow check-ins between 3 and 5pm.There's already several vans just hanging around waiting for access.Come on guys lift your game and get some customer focus.Put some site numbers up and allocate your prepaying customers sites and a gate code.

This is a great find. Very friendly caretaker met us at 3pm at gate, walked us to our site and gave us the code for the clean amenities.Can have power or un powered.We were the only one for the first night and found it peaceful. Sure the train goes past but did not worry us as it was only a couple of times.Very handy for the Huge markets which makes it good for popping back to motorhome, have a break and back to markets.Would highly recommend.

Very disappointing. Caravan park prices, lack of amenities Caravan site's are not in their own area, but are part of the car park and if you happen to be camping on market day you get boxed in by cars within 1.5 metres each side, not even enough room to sit outside and chill out.You might as well be in a supermarket car park, certainly won't come here again..

No water to hook up to but $18 per night for CMCA members with power and good hot showers/toilets was very good value. Not many there on Friday but packed out Saturday for the markets.
