Karen's style of psychology sessions fit me like a missing piece of puzzle.She helped me understand the WHY by explaining the developmental neuroscience behind my symptoms. She tells me why we are talking about certain things, why it's likely to be important and why certain therapy works for my particular case.She gives me a map of exactly where we are driving through this journey in a structured, predictable and coherent manner.I felt that my previous psychologist were too fluffy" for me - and I'm sure some people love that. But I needed someone like Karen.Karen convinced me that this is worth putting my time

Unprofessional in the extreme. My wife and I wanted to get help with issues from our childhood, only to have the misfortune to encounter a hateful experience of an emotionally deficient individual who made it her mission to split us up, completely unsuccessful, we are closer than ever.She was negligent in telling each of us what the other said in private.Avoid this practice at all costs.My wife wanted to use a different member, just in case it was a one off poor excuse for a psychologist, she cancelled her, tried to rebook with another, only to have the misfortune of the bad one answer the phone and push her to see her again, not only that, the bad one saw her at the gym and followed her into the toliet and harassed her.Terrible experience, do not use this practice.

Was in such a traumatic place in my life when I started seeing Karen. It took a lot of work but with Karen's wonderful skill and patience I have come thru the other side stronger, happier and more whole than ever before. I would highly recommend any of the psychologists at Shine Strong Psychology. They have high standards of integrity and professionalism.
