Very disappointed with the service provided so far . Some courier person banged my brand new GENESIS while it was parked on the street . I bought the car in February 2023 and this happened in March 2023. GIO took the car in April for repair , I have been following up for three months there is still no ETA provided for the repair! My new car has been sitting in their garage all this while and there is no hope it will be repaired any time soon. Wish they were actually concerned about the turnaround times and the impact on clients !

would give less but no 1/4 star, waiting 4 weeks to receive my paper policy, each time i try to contact someone it goes to off shore , most times they do not understand and tell me they will post again waste of time contacting them, you can talk to locals when renewing policy but when it comes to complaints forget about it, shame GIO Australia cannot give aussies jobs instead of oversea companies

the worst claim experience I've ever had. Need to wait for over 2 months to get the assessment for a small repair. They just don't want to finish the assessment so you have to use GIO's repairers even though those repairers are fully booked and you have to wait for over a month.Phone call waiting time is always over 40 minutes. Apparently they have a lot sales but no one is working on the customer support and claim.How is your Christmas? GIO dont really care. Will not use GIO in the future.

If I could give them 0 I could. Put in a claim for flood damage. Despite reports saying that it was flood damage they decided to deny the contents based on a first report that didn’t even look at the contents took photos from a distance and then decided to deny. GIO decides to take this report over all the other reports that actually examined the contents.4 months later phone calls not answered, emails not answered and a phone call they are trying to deny happened where I was told that they were liable and was going to pay.Waited and waited and nothing happened.Have gotten legal advice who have said they stole from me.Biggest rip off and thief of a company and continuing the fight to get what is legally ours. Despite ongoing get an email to say that another month they have with internal resolution over it and taking action.Now they are trying another angle and expecting receipts for all items over the years. Person is the rudest person out in internal disputes that makes you want to fight the decision even more.

Customer care is not effective and helpfull. People just hang the phone.Gio need to improve the customer support service for better business. Due to bad customer support, it would be very difficult to get help when needed.

Extremely slow and difficult to deal with. Phone menu 7 steps deep. Offshore support. Very ignorant and disrespectful to people with disabilities. Inept beyond imagination. I spoke to someone who I had to ask three times to clarify if I'm getting put through to a person or a queue, he confirmed it will be a person yet I got put into a queue that I had to then chose more options before being put in hold.This is the hardest insurance claim I've ever done.

Absolutely disgraceful. Incompetent staff who have no understanding of the road rules and will say anything to deny a claim. Don’t waste your money on them go elsewhere. Would give zero rating

Went with GIO in the first instance because it was very well priced, I had heard good reviews from people needing to claim and the policy covered everything I needed.I never actually needed to claim, and then sold the car.The policy cancellation process was so quick and easy! It is online, the button is nice and easy to find and there is an assistant that talks you through it. I cancelled the policy and confirmed the refund within 60 seconds. No waiting on the phone to speak with multiple people trying to convince me to stay, no needing to wait for business hours. So impressed

Offer the services when they want your money when it comes time to deliver no customer service at all just excuses.
