This place is dirty, the TV doesn't work, there is no outdoor furniture and they are conducting construction a few floors above us for the entirety of our stay. Would never come here again.

The location is great and is really close to the beach. There are many shops and restaurants nearby that you can walk to. The rooms were pretty clean but the beds were not very comfortable. The indoor pool and hot tub were good but it was too cold for the outdoor pool.

Excellent location. Reception staff didn't give much detail on arrival other than where the car park was. We stayed in the budget rooms so wasn't expecting anything fancy. Needs a bit of work on the room we were in. Room wasn't clean very clean (lots of dust on window sills, showers had mould that could be wiped off on the roof and removable soap scum)doors in kitchen and bathroom cabinets falling off, curtains ripped, air con Only in lounge room which didn't work great, fans in one room didn't work. Not a completely horrible experience but not quite what we were expecting

Amazing our 2 bedroom was fantastic so big had 2 bathrooms 1 with a bath/shower the view was breathtaking just having the ocean view was worth every cent also full kitchen washing machine and dryer iron and ironing board, vacuum, mop, bucket, towels. So we only had to buy our own food etc definitely staying their again. Thankyou for a wonderful stay

Dirty, dust and dated.Dead bugs under beds, burnt pots in kitchen, cupboards so dusty we could not unpack our suitcases. Broken glass on balcony.Constant itch from knees down, carpet bugs just constantly biting you.Broken curtains, mouldy washing machine. Linen and towels not changed beyond a 7 day stay.We spent our first half a day there cleaning toilets and kitchen and vacuuming the unit just to bring it to a level where we could actually stay there.Outdoor pool was closed for 4 days out of our stay as they just couldn’t get chemical levels right.

Be careful of the residents living at this old and dated apartment complexThis is an email I had sent to the building managerDear JennyI would like to make you aware of a very awful situation that happened at the Aegean Apartments last Friday the 18th of November.I was working as an Uber driver and received a booking to collect one of your guest at 7am and take her to the airport. I could see she had 2 x large suitcases and was waiting for me at your reception. After loading your guest and her luggage I proceeded to drive to the boom gate and call for assistance to open the boom gate.I was approached by a man holding a little brown dog who was very aggressive and asked what me what was I doing. Telling me I had no right to pick up or deliver your guest from your reception area.I apologized and told this man I was not aware of policies of picking up and delivering of guests of the Aegean and informed him she had two large suitcases which would have been difficult( if not dangerous) for her to take down your driveway.Well this man who claimed to be part of the management went into a fit of rage, the language was disgusting and threating to me and your guest who later told me she stays at the Aegean many times. He told your guest to take her luggage down to the footpath and never return to the Aegean again.Jenny, the threats and language from your resident is nothing sort of assault and he could be dangerous to the public and your guest in the future. Please keep me informed of what action you will take to keep drivers and guest safe around your business.RegardsPeter JenningsResponse from management.Quote Old hat we have moved on.Very poor customer careThere are many other clean and safe accommodation venues on the Gold Coast. No mention of the fear and stress or concern caused the guest."

Just filthy, mould everywhere. Dust everywhere. A lot of items didn't work. The kitchen had almost no cutlery and burnt pots. Staff were not helpful.Furniture was broken, carpet was filthy and looked like it had not been changed since the 60's. Overall a disgusting experience.LOOK ELSEWHERE

Superior two bedroom apartment. Renovated completely and no issues. Staff were very helpful with any issues we had. Location was so perfect, next to tram station and restaurants and beach. Would definitely stay again.

Great position but that is the only positive. Dirty rooms, didn’t look like it had been cleaned, cockroaches running over tiles, must have squashed 15, tv remote didn’t work, had to manually use tv, very outdated and damage throughout apartment, bedroom door had been replaced and evidence of being kicked in, had a late check in and couldn’t get safe open to retrieve keys, we were stuck outside for 30 minutes before the code could be reset to allow access. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for

Great central location, close to beach, tram and Cavill Ave. The indoor pool and reception had been recently renovated and were really lovely. Unfortunately the spa was not working when we stayed April 22. Gym is really tiny compared to website photos. We stayed in apartment 6A it was a reasonably nice apartment however bathrooms were old, dirty and outdated. Lots of mould in the showers. Nice view from balcony, could just see the beach in distance. Comfortable lounge room area and good kitchen. No air conditioning in bedrooms they did have fans but it was still extremely hot. Windows were dirty could barely see out of them, beds very uncomfortable. Outdoor pool area and tennis court areas were quite nice. Not worth $520/ night, we wouldn’t rate as 4 star accommodation or stay there again to be perfectly honest. I would suggest they double glaze the windows as it is extremely noisy in the mornings we could not sleep in past 6.30am.
