This is such a wonderful B&B experience, a piece of country charm a stone's throw from the city. The house is calm and the hosts super friendly. If you want a peaceful base for a Perth trip, then don't look any further.

This B&B is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are in the front portion of a beautiful home and the owners live in the back and upstairs. They were never bothersome and always friendly if we had questions regarding things to do in Western Australia. The house is in a great area that is walking distance to the train, a trendy area with shops and food (Oxford St.), and a beautiful park by the lake.The service here really is fantastic for a B&B. Upon arriving to her home, the owner will show you the place, pointing you to the bathroom (that you share with the other guests), the pool, some cozy sitting areas (inside and out), your room, and the breakfast nook inside your room. The breakfast area includes cereal and milk, fruit, yogurt, as well as some local treats (like some Australian beer).Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful tranquil and right beside the city, just outside so you're not stuck in the hustle bustle. The host is lovely, the ambience relaxing, and it is on a hill right beside a gorgeous view of Lake Monger. Easy parking out front. Will be back for sure!! Thank you for the perfect stay!!

Wonderful place to stay in Perth! Nice rooms (but no private bathroom), very comfy. Very nice hosts who made every effort to make me feel home. I'd love to come back one day!

Our 3 week stay at the Lakeside Bed and Breakfast with Jan and Steve was, without doubt, the most enjoyable B & B experience we have ever had. The accommodation is very comfortable and relaxing, the décor so interesting and, as hosts, Jan and Steve could not have been more welcoming, friendly or helpful. Strongly recommended.
