We are also within 30 minutes of Charlton, Donald, 45 minutes of Maryborough & Stawall, 1 hour Bendigo, Horsham & Halls Gap.

We enjoyed our stay here. Its a very clean, comfortable motel close to town. Its located right across the road from the roadhouse. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable which is a bonus. It has all amenities that you require during your stay including free WiFi. Parking at your door and outside patio table and chairs.

The guy at reception, possibly the owner accused me of having an extra guest, because I'd used the blankets off another bed. He may not be aware of how cold the rooms are. He was so fuming and upset at having to make an extra bed that day that I felt uncomfortable to stay another night and went to the hotel across the road, found it to be more modern and with a restaurant attached not to mention adequate heating.

We had a late last minute stop, couldn’t find a motel anywhere close to Bendigo and the hosts here were very helpful. The room is a cool rustic style, very clean, comfortable beds and lots of added extras like hand lotion and soaps in the bathrooms. It’s one of the first places I’ve stayed in and I’ve stayed in a lot as we travel around a fair bit that the electric blankets actually work and the tv has Netflix so a happy family all round!!! Thanks for having us at such short notice great place highly recommended it!!!!

The worst by far place I have ever stayed. The verandah was leaking right above the door so you had to wall thru a waterfall just to get into the room. The door was stuck and difficult to open which later would not close at all. The after hour number listed on the website had no answer. No where inside the room could I find any contact information.We had to sleep with the door unlocked and partly open as it could not be closed.As for cleanliness there were visible copwebs on the walls and picture frames. Would rather sleep in my car then ever stay here again.Zero Stars

Was without a doubt the most unfriendly and unwelcoming hoteliers I’ve come across in my 45 years. The rooms were okay and represented reasonable value however we booked four rooms between us and all of us left with the same view on the very poor experience. Everything was too hard and there was even friction between the owners in front of us making the experience more uncomfortable. Seek alternate options.

Stopped on the way to the Vic high country. I found this to be a good place to stop and rest. The beds were neat and comfy and the room was presented well. Would stay again
