Brighton Savoy: Hotel Accommodation & Wedding Events Venue

The people that run this place have absolutely no empathy and have made themselves look like victims of the pandemic...as if others didn't/aren't going through the same issue/s. they have robbed so many people of their hard earned money for what is meant to be a special day. they've held on to deposits for services that they cannot provide and have blamed it on the pandemic, and yet are looking to start a new business. True con artists. I can't ever look at this place or its owners the same again. utterly disgustingit gives me great comfort that so many people are starting to take legal actions against this place. it's only fair that they acknowledge what they've done and return people's money.I do not recommend this place or any other businesses ran by the same owners....look them up and do your research.

Great costumer service and beautiful facilities. The staff were so friendly and made me feel very welcome. The location was great for me and it has the most beautiful views. The food is outstanding and reasonable prices! Thank you again!

I was here for a friends wedding and this place was amazing. We spent a few days here before and after the wedding and got to enjoy thr beach across the road and all the facilities. Ive driven past this place so many times but never realized how nice and cosy it is inside. Loved the historic journey portrayed in all the photos and paintings across the hotel. Staff were nice and food was great. Church Street shopping is not far and very chill place. Would recommend and will be back to enjoy that beach!

We had our wedding at the Brighton Savoy in the Sea view room on 27/03/2021 and we had the most wonderful experience. The staff went above and beyond to help us and the whole day/night went so well and the venue looked amazing!All the staff did an excellent job always answering our emails and questions and were very kind and welcoming to us both and all our guests.Our host for the night was also unreal!!! She went above and beyond to help us out with anything and was very accommodating with any changes and keeping everything else on schedule. So thank you Jennifer.The food was also amazing and we had so much excellent feedback from our guests about the food from start to finish and how great the room was set up and the Savoy as a whole.We had such a happy memorable stress free day and I would defiantly recommend having your Wedding or any event here.

Loved our stay. Fabulous room with comfy beds and excellent customer service. The staff were attentive and friendly. Situated across the road from the beach , after our morning walk ,we came back to a delicious breakfast basket. This boutique hotel is a delight, close to retail shops and cafes and was perfect for our anniversary/ birthday celebration.

Stayed here for our anniversary. Such a nice hotel and our room was spacious and comfortable but was quite dissappointed that they are not offering breakfast yet ( not even room service) except for an expensive continental basket. Considering all other hotels have reopen their breakfast buffets I find it quite poor they haven't.I was also surprised to find that they did not provide body wash as part of their bathroom amenities, it's only a small thing but I have never stayed in a place that didn't, even cheap motels. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay.

One star is one too many!My husband booked us a room for after our wedding day to allow us to get away for a couple of nights. We originally booked in 2021, however due to covid had to reschedule/cancel. The booking policy allowed full refund.We finally rebooked our wedding in 2022 and my husband reached out to the hotel to reschedule the accomodation and received an auto reply that they were fully booked for that night. He tried to call a number of times but no answer.We then forgot for a couple of months and when I have tried to call and email again still no response and no answer. I finally decided to drive to the hotel and found it all shut up and no one there. Now there’s a for sale sign out the front!What a waste of $500+ to support a local business. I guess we should never have trusted them when we cancelled. Reading through these reviews they have replied to some people that all booking were contacted and offered refund. We were never contacted, what a joke!!

Hotel has decided to take a personal political stance in regards to reopening once 80/80 vaccination levels have been reached and cancelled our wedding and won't refund us our money. Beware of this hotel, they don't care about anyone except themselves I would hate for anyone else to have this experience. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL accommodation or events!Edit to add: the hotel has since refunded us but has asked we delete/change our reviews. I do not feel this is appropriate as this is my honest review of the hotel. They sent out emails initially stating no changes, refunded or reschedule of dates. You ignored all correspondence from us until there was heat on you with channel 7 and channel 9 and then you suddenly decide to refund us.The stress and anxiety of all of this has been extreme. $4000 was not something I could just loose and what's worse is you don't seem to care, you care more about your image. Had you handled this all differently the Brighton Savoy might be in a very different position.

I want to express my appreciation for the excellent customer service which my self,the Maid of Honour and the bride had received from your company on the date of my sisters wedding. The event manager of the night and also bartender were very friendly and accommodating. They were very helpful to me, my family and all our requests. We had an eventful night, also Covid restrictions in the mists. Never have I had such great customer service.Thank you very much for helping us get our luggage from our car as-well. Very trustworthy staff.Thank you
