Freedom - Kotara

I walked into Freedom at Kotara this morning about 10.30am, walked around the store looking for specific items that I had seen online. Though there were 6 staff chatting in groups on the shop floor, not one approached me asking if I needed help. They lost a large sale, as I was interested in a dining suite!

My experience at Freedom kotara homemaker centre was nothing short of wonderful! I had quite a tricky issue to be resolved but two staff, Cody and Sarah, were extremely well mannered and helpful. They helped me get through my issue promptly and made me feel so comfortable. This store is so organised and very well managed! Definitely coming back :)

Annie from the kotara store was brilliant. Showed us around all the items we wanted to see and was happy to provide honest feedback with our selections. Working in such a competitive home zone I can honestly say she was the best sales assistant we bumped into out of all the stores in the kotara home zone complex.

Freedom Kotara's interior decoration service was a real surprise! I am not very confident with colours so thought I would spend $150 for Kotara's interior decorator to help me.Sarah F arrived at my apartment at the scheduled time and she was a true delight, putting me at ease from the start with her calm and confident demeanor. Sarah spent the full 90 minutes with me talking about what I was looking for, making suggestions, taking pictures, etc. We agreed to meet up at the store a few days later when she had a number of mood boards ready for my consideration.We pulled cushions from all different locations in the store, considered floor rugs, throws, art work and entertainment units.I was very satisfied with the final selection of a Claremont entertainment unit, Malaki floor rug, three cushions, a throw and a pouffe.I can't thank Sarah enough for her invaluable contribution to my selections, and with Sarah's tuition and encouragement, I am now a more confident decorator of my apartment. Thank you so much Sarah and Freedom Kotara. A GREAT interior decorator service and a delightful, SKILLFUL interior decorator!

Went into the Kotara store as I had made a purchase online and moments after purchasing received an email that there was a sale on the item I had purchased and it would have saved me over $700. Not really expecting much of an outcome I was pleasantly surprised that they offered a refund for the whole amount. Not only that, the staff (Jenny & Nigel) were both incredibly kind and happy to help. I was so happy with getting the money back, but more impressed with the service from the team.Massive thank you to Jenny and Nigel.Was a great customer experience and will be using this store from now on!

I would not recommend anyone purchase from here. We purchased our dining table, 4 chairs, 2 bar stools and a cabinet on 6/2/22. When we purchased them we were told the wait time would be 4-6 weeks. After 4 weeks, I checked our order to see it had been pushed from early March to April. Since then, our order has continued to be pushed out with the current due date end of of May.I emailed freedom to work out why it was being pushed further and further out. There is no direct customer centre phone number all communication has to be completed via live chat or email.I have since received 2 dates to advise furniture will arrive and on the day the furniture has not showed up.No one can provide me with an update on what is going on and why the furniture isn’t showing up.We now don’t have a dining table for our Easter plans due to Freedoms incompetence.

Update: over a year I have been trying to resolve this matter but still no cooperation from this company.I ordered a bed from this company, no update on delivery. I assumed it was in stock not going to be made to order in China during a pandemic. Needless to say I had to purchase another product for my airbnb as guests were arriving. Been back and forth with this company on cancelling the order but they don’t do anything!! It’s been over a year now since I ordered and paid. This company needs to be transparent on delay and delivery times, like every other company I’ve bought online thru. Unbelievable that they can be permitted to do business this way. This company is international and has paid numerous million $ lawsuits for their shady business dealings

I will never purchase another item from Freedom. I purchased a lounge in May which has an 'anticipated' delivery of late November. I did not know of this delay until I received my invoice. It is impossible to speak with anyone at Freedom. There is no complaints or customer service number, and I did not receive a response to my online enquiry. I tried to communicate through a robot chat online which could not resolve anything, and I tried numerous times to contact Freedom Kotara to wait on hold until the phone line cut out. On the two occasions I did speak with people who worked there the first said the Manager would call back and they didn't, and the second time the Manager said they would only exchange, which is useless when all of their lounges have huge delays. I've never experienced such terrible service and I will never purchase another item from this store again.

I have made a huge purchase recently with this company which includes delivery service in the purchase. However, it has been a while no one contacted me regarding my delivery and my frequent phone calls to the store regarding this left unanswered. Very incompetent costumer service and management.addit: 06/12Still no arrangement from this Company in relation to delivery. I rang multiple times.......Two pots have been delivered have cracks at the bottom.e-mailed Freedom- no response.
