Fraser's GAMSAT Tuition

I participated in the comprehensive package.Section 2 was by far the best - I'm able to confidently say that I am a much better S2 writer; this may be due to the fact that I was tutored by Andy Harmsen - who is, in my opinion, the best teacher at Frasers. Section 1 is a bit of a curve ball, the lessons were well structure, enjoyable and engaging - however, I cannot say with confidence that I'm now better at S1 than before. Lastly, I was able to learn of lot of trick and tips for S3, and I can say with some confidence that I am better at s3 than I was before doing Frasers. However many of the S3 tutors are not specialist teacher as most are uni students who are teaching GAMSAT on the side because they performed well in the exam themselves. I wish they had at least some specialist tutors (teachers by profession), especially during the Bridging Phase and Practice Based Learning phase. It is important to note that I am from a non-science background, hence my perceived improvements in S3 may be partly be due to exposure as opposed to the quality of teaching.Lastly, having the support of other students is something that cannot be underestimated - having the support of Frasers and other students made the experience really enjoyable.

Really well structured course. The tutors were great and their strategies were really helpful to boost confidence in all sections. Andy was a really great tutor that helped to boost confidence in S2 and build a strategy. He understood my weaknesses and really helped target them and improve, not just in writing but also the mindset for approaching S2.

I did this course to prep for my first GAMSAT sitting in March just gone. I came in feeling reasonably confident in S1 and S3 but dreading the thought of S2. Found out my confidence may have been a little misplaced (initially, got through that) but definitely learned exactly what I needed to know in order to put together a coherent and intelligible response to S2 through the amazing teaching of both the S2 course but also the private tutes with the amazing Andy! Thank you so much. This course was incredibly useful.

The Frasers course and the Frasers team are truly one of a kind. The attention to detail and high quality education relating to the Gamsat are unrivalled but it was the kindness and support of the staff and tutors involved in the program that really made the difference for me. The team employs a knowledgeable, fun and supportive group of tutors and mentors, special mention to my tutor Jake and Andy who really go above and beyond to prepare you for the big day. I completed the concentrated course in preparation for the March 2023 sitting of the Gamsat, which was my 5th attempt overall and first with the support of the Frasers course. I am awaiting the results, but have never sat the exam feeling more prepared and confident in my approach then I have after Frasers. Furthermore, the course represents excellent value for money :)

Fraser's GAMSAT course is a highly effective way at improving your GAMSAT skills, efficiency, and preparation. With weekly bridging courses teaching fundamental theory, weekly problem based learning sessions that go through questions as a group, to multiple mock exams, and a bank of thousands of questions, it is a fantastic deal for your money, and you definitely will not regret your time, regardless of the outcome. It is highly unlikely that you will exhaust all of the features this course offers by the time your exam rolls around.But I'm writing this review specifically due to the welcoming staff and tutors who are present at Fraser's, specifically my Section II tutor, Sideek. Sideek's welcoming presence, down to earth nature, and prowess in levity accentuated his highly effective weekly Section II tutorials and weekly group discussions. Finding a tutor who encourages you throughout your GAMSAT journey is a very important way to ensure that you are performing to the best of your abilities.Overall, I highly recommend Fraser's GAMSAT course. I am an older (43 years old) successful medical school applicant from the UK. The hardest part of my journey was passing the GAMSAT. Being an older applicant I did not know anyone who had sat Gamsat and I tried prepping for it myself self for 3 consecutive years, with multiple Gamsat sittings. I was almost about to give up when a facebook friend from Melbourne strongly recommended Frasers Gamsat. I was apprehensive in purchasing the course; as it was expensive. I approached Scott Fraser founder of Frasers, who spend an hour with me during a zoom session, informing me about the course. I was sold and went for the fully compressive course. During the Frasers course I learnt there was an art and skill to GAMSAT beyond my experience of a traditional British education system of rope learning and recall of information for exams. I also realised that the Gamsat required a higher degree of cognition and reasoning, beyond anything I have been taught in my education. Also coming from a non humanities background I realised there was gaps in my humanities knowledge, which with guidance from the expert Frasers section 1 and 2 tutors I was able to bridge.With the expert guidance from the Frasers Gamsat team and support, I secured my highest GAMSAT score to date, resulting in three interviews and successful offers to study medicine in the UK. My only regret in the GAMSAT process is that I wish I had purchased the Frasers course earlier, which would have prepared me better for GAMSAT to get he score I needed for Med school few years earlier. Better late than never!Overall I was extremely impressed by the professionalism, support and family atmosphere Frasers bought to my Gamsat Journey. I highly recommend Frasers Gamsat, Scott Fraser and his team !

My experience with Fraser's GAMSAT has been excellent thus far. The tutors are all friendly, attentive and supportive and the resources for the program are amazing. The PBLs and mock exams were great tools for preparing me for the skills and endurance required for the actual GAMSAT exam.

I was initially going for medicine and had a few chemistry tutorials which were incredibly useful. Once i decided to not go for medicine i was given a personal meeting with Scott Fraser to help me identify what i wanted for the future and was given a refund for the course. Overall this has been a fantastic experience and am very grateful

After making a last minute decision to sit the GAMSAT, I spent three months doing the Fraser's comprehensive course and ended up with results better than I ever could have imagined! The incredible tutors were with me every step of the way and helped me prepare in a way I never could have managed on my own. I can't recommend Frasers highly enough.
