Lovells Carrum Downs | GVM & GCM Upgrades

Michael at Lovell’s was fabulous to deal with, explaining everything I needed to know about a GVM/GCM upgrade on my brand new 200 series Landcruiser. He is an expert in the 4x4 field and also gave me great tips about a bull-bar and snorkel. With Michael’s help, I was able to obtain a fantastic deal on the vehicle purchase price! Cannot recommend highly enough – if you’re considering suspension changes – go and talk to Lovell’s for practical and reliable advice.

Watch out for these guys.I had suspension changed here and was charged for a wheel alignment that was either not, or not done competently. Vehicle pulls badly to the right.I suspect it may be related to the fact that they forgot to pump up one of the air bags which possibly changed the vehicle angles.When I questioned them they were unwilling to asssit

I entered into a competition at the 2020 Victorian Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow and won 2nd prize of GVM/GCM upgrade which was gratuitously donated by Lovells. Unfortunately my 4x4 was way too old to receive this prize however they voluntary provided me with a full suspension upgrade instead. In the first instance Michael & Co were very cooperative and did really good job on my patrol until... We went holidaying and good luck just after holiday my air-conditioning stop working. Went to NIssan & they found that due to GVM the back line was broken.Came back to Michael who took a car to check & found everything installed as recommended ??????? Yeh he admit it that GVM installation touched a line but maybe due to my driving. He generously" offered me $300 to repair it (have email from Michael to prove it). Origginal Nissan quote was $2500 and I repair it with original NIssan part for $1400.I chased 2 years over legal system but due to covid it become mission impossible.Just be aware as you do any business here and if anything goes wrong he will wash his hands. NEVER USE THEM."

Did a great job on the gvm upgrade I also had electric brakes and Anderson plug done at off road animal next door to lovells, Dropped the car off once all the work was done from lovells and off road animal I was off that easy.
