Roundhouse

Great event venue. Enjoyed seeing Mother Mother here recently and look forward to attending here again in the future.

Great experience being so close to the artists playing, although the sound is pretty muddy and not the clearest, (this goes for any artist I've seen here). Also, never again am I paying $30+ for 2 cans of alcohol, when I can purchase 6 cans of the same stuff for less than $25 at any bottle shop. Abit ridiculous.

Performed here and come to concerts well over 100 times and it has always been a pleasure and exciting time at the Roundhouse. Genuinely nice and fun staff as well as being very community oriented.

Massive soundsystem and a large dance floor. Pretty short bar line and restrooms were easily accessible. If you need to escape the noise for a bit the outdoor area has plenty of space.

Reminiscing study in the 90's. The roundhouse featured in many get togethers. Had a great lunch there. Good the light rail has made it. Remember the chaos of 691 and 695 buses!

Good venue for bands. Recently renovated. Sadly the sound was muddy on the main set. I’ve noticed issues with live sound in the past at this venue. Overall a good venue.

Most unprofessional staff I have seen at a venue (minus security as they aren’t staff specifically for the venue and were so lovely)- Rude and had attitudes towards patrons from the beginning then decided that anyone under the age of 18 was not allowed in the pit and had to stand on the balcony even though they had been lining up since 11am. Disgusting behaviour- there was nothing written on the website stating that u18s weren’t allowed in the pit and they had no remorse or compassion and decided to argue with the minor and ruin their entire concert experience quite immature behaviour from venue staff. There was no prior warning in the days coming and no mention about minors not being allowed in the pit (only a small section written about being a u18 area with no mention of it not being in the pit). I understand it is for safety but the poor minors who had been lining up over 7 hours for the concert were then stripped of their opportunity to stand along the barrier with everyone else.

I really like how informal and easy it is to access this venue. It's fairly small, so you can get very close to the artists, which is great. Also, there are enough bars and bathrooms that you rarely see lines. It's always hot inside, even in the winter, but they usually have a cloak room. Sometimes it's hard to find enough information about the event online. So I want to share that we got resale tickets on Tixel and that worked - despite being an event where names were in the ticket, the security didn't check for names just for age. This was a relief. What annoys me about this venue is the acoustics. The quality of the sound on the top floor is garbage, totally distorted. If you're on the main floor, but below the second floor's structure, the sound is also not very good. So you need to stay relatively close to the stage to get a good sound quality. As long as you do that, you'll have an amazing time!

Amazing venue, great bar and fast food. Huge outdoor area for smokers or vapers.

A great event space. Attended for a conference, multi level, good additional break out rooms, on-site AV. Only downside is almost no natural light.
