We were shown a hearty welcome upon our arrival following a long day's travel in 40C+ heat. Our 'standard' cabin was clean, spacious and cool - and we were most grateful that staff had thought to leave the air conditioner on for our arrival. A float around in the well-maintained pool was a perfect lead on to a comfortable night's sleep. Thank you Discovery Parks Port Augusta! Julie & Darren

Wow, just wow. Only giving them 5 stars because I can't give them 10. All staff are super helpful and friendly, park facilities and amenities are kept very clean and tidy. If you're planning on staying in Port Augusta you're just wasting time looking anywhere else.

Great park with amazing amenities, spotlessly clean!! Only camp kitchen I've seen with tablecloths!!Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

AMAZING! We were in such a bind when our car broke down 15 minutes away from Port Augusta. After having amazing service from the mechanic they suggested Discovery Parks at Port Augusta and they took us in. The mechanic even dropped our camper trailer off there! We are so grateful. Every staff member we spoke to were kind and supportive and our stay ended up being a beautiful EXTRA to our trip. Thank you for making a possible stressful situation a welcomed detour in our adventure ❤

Set up is tent and power required to car this was available, still a little bit of grass left, had a rain down pour while staying stopped just in time from the camp area becoming flooded, receptionist was professional just maybe didn't know ground, ask what was required laundry and inform 4 dollar washer and 4 dollars dry but I could get tokens saved coins so agreed. Went to use the machines to find out only one of the 4 machines except coins/token and this was in use but the other 3 machines where wave a pay with bank card, so I was sold tokens that were useless. Washing facilities were clean well maintained.

We stayed here for one night only. Sites are so spacious and well laid out. Facilities were spotless and well maintained. Staff on reception were working very hard.

We stayed in a motel room on site for one night. The notice when you enter the room about petty crime in the area (make sure you lock your car and remove variables) is a bit concerning. Worth also noting the motel rooms are around the back and quite separate from the caravan sites and onsite cabins, so feel a bit isolated. Having said that, we saw the security they had on at night at the front gate and we had no issues, it was very quiet. Room was basic but fine for the price. Reasonably clean; linen was fresh but shower grout could do with a bleach and would be nice if the spider webs were swept away.

Excellent park - I don't give out 5 stars so 4 is as good as it gets!!!! Staff helpful.and willing to go that extra mile or klm!!! Stayed in an ensuite caravan site

Stayed here for 2 nights in a superior cabin. The cabin was very clean and good size. The beds were comfortable. Great amenities but I wish someday they will add jumping pillow and waterpark. Great location as it is close to the town and some tourist spots. My only down side was the location of the pool which is very close to the reception where every car goes in and out. Also, the pool was closed on a Saturday which was our only full day there.

Stayed here one night on our journey through to Adelaide. Amenities were clean. Excellent camp kitchen. We had a pleasant stay. The park was easy to find on the way into Port Augusta. During our visit the caravan park was experiencing some minor issues with things disappearing from the park and we were reminded by text to lock the van. We felt extremely safe and didn't experience or see any problems. Good friendly staff.
