Hi my name is Sara kennedy and my fiancé and brother in law were both diagnosed with becca muscular dystrophy at birth within that diagnosis they developed a diluted version of cardiomyopathy. When they first started with ndis they were put with a company that didn’t help them with the stuff they needed and were always put last, when they started seeing their exercise physiologist he told us about his company and told us all how he could help get us the support we needed and that they were able to help us with anything the boys struggled with so we joined meta healthcare and haven’t looked back. the boys are now getting the care and support they need. The boys have grown really close with the founders of meta healthcare and became good friends. The support from meta healthcare has given the boys a new outlook on life as well as giving them hope with their disability. They know that you can’t treat their disability but meta healthcare has helped slow the progression of their disability through exercise and training their muscles. The staff at meta healthcare aren’t just workers and strangers they have become friends and family.

When I was 15 I wasn’t in my best physical condition due to my genetic disability Muscular Dystrophy, if your not sure what that is it’s a debilitating condition that eats away at your muscles until there’s nothing left and they have helped me through these past years by sticking by my side and by motivating me into getting back up when I’ve been pushed down and controlled by my disability and into my best physical shape I’ve ever been in and I’m absolutely thankful for them by being there because they care

My name is Chris and I’m a man who at birth was diagnosed with Becca Muscular Dystrophy which later caused a form of Cardio Myopathy. If that wasn’t bad enough I also had a desire to participate in regular physical activity and playing rugby league. I was only 15 when I started to feel my body fail me and I had to say goodbye to playing rugby league.There is no cure nor any proper treatment for any case of Muscular Dystrophy.It wasn’t until I was 16 and met Peter Fauvette, a university student soon to be Exercise Physiologist and founder of Meta Health Care who helped me understand my condition whilst searching for more natural ways of treatment through physical therapy at a gym, park or at home during the Covid lockdown.With my disabilities it isn’t easy and at the start it was extremely difficult to do normal things like standing up and walking around of which made me disinterested at times but Pete assured me that if I kept showing up to our sessions doing the exercises that he told me to do I would feel stronger and that in time, hopefully it would slow the progression of my conditions.Pretty soon I felt that our sessions weren’t just about treating my disabilities, but hanging out with a friend who not only cares about treating me but can also have a joke and talk about shared interests, all while doing his job. Come 2021 my body was ready for me to return to playing rugby league in the PDRL, something I originally thought was impossible.Had I not been with Pete and his company Meta Health Care I have no doubt that I would already be in a wheelchair and would be experiencing a significantly worse case of heart failure, I certainly wouldn’t be playing rugby league.Exercise isn’t easy, if it was everyone would do it. If you want to better yourself despite being disabled, Meta Health Care is the company for you.They care.

My name is Chris and i have known Peter for years and has done a great or should i say exceptional job with my health and pysio. I believe that now he has other other great people working with him with support workers and drivers which look after my best interests at heart. One last thing is they are always there for you through good and bad times especially when covid hit they were not only my pysio but also someone to hear my problem's which went along way for me. I recommend there services 100%. Go Parra lol.
