Had the most beautiful gnocchi and salad here. Their cocktails and food are perfectly balanced and the service professional and friendly. Definately be back

We celebrated some very belated birthdays at High Road Cantina tonight. The service was friendly and attentive as it was a quiet night. The Feed Me set menu was mostly delicious with only one dish that didn’t impress. We had a really nice evening and left satisfied but not over fed.

Came for steak night. Served with a smile and the wine it came with was actually decent. Got told the steak was a sous vide rump and I ordered it medium.Steak came out in less than 4 minutes so was obviously not heated up or grilled fresh, even considering it was sous vide. Also the steak was small, 180-200 grams max plus medium well and with far too crispy shoestring fries and the steak totally drenched in green pepper sauce. Left underwhelmed and hungry from the meal and I am not a big eater.As for the service and atmosphere it was great to be honest. So a shame the food let my experience down.Would return in the future to give it another go as other customers seemed happy. Just definitely not for steak night.Hopefully they can sort this out for future customers in the future.

The restaurant itself was beautiful! We loved the atmosphere.We all ordered the steak for the steak night special and we were quite disappointed as it wasn't as big as the photos they advertised, they were all much closer to well done (we ordered medium) and they didn't come with the tarragon mustard, as advertised on social media. We also ordered a side salad which was forgotten about until we reminded them, however this was taken off the bill which was appreciated.We were quite disappointed.

Brilliant spot. Was surprised it was so quiet for an evening - maybe word not yet got out. Had the half chicken (I never order chicken but it was amazing - soft, SO juicy and tender and flavorsome), the steak - cooked perfectly, amazing fries, and some lovely sides. Great friendly service. Inside a little plain but courtyard stunning, but all in all, reasonable, enjoyable, and fantastic food, highly recommended and will be back!

The newly renovated Post is absolutely stunning and the French inspired menu exceptional. Service was also fantastic. Can see ourselves becoming regulars in the beautiful courtyard to enjoy more of the delicious steak frites and crème brûlée

Went here for dinner with friends, ambiance of the revamped pub is really nice, staff were friendly. Food was not great, I had the mussels which was a generous serve in terms of portion size but the sauce was completely bland and very watery with little to no flavour. My friends had the steak frites and were not impressed with it either and said the portion was small for a Wednesday night special and the sauce on the steak was also bland. I won't be coming here to eat again, however would maybe consider coming for back for a drink.

Gorgeous spot. Hadn't been for years - since before the renovations. It's a beautiful fit out and calm vibe with classy touches such as the warm lamps and vintage plates. We all enjoyed all the food and the wine list has a lot of variety. Exceptional service. Would recommend for a date night or a nicer style dinner with friends.Courtyard is very pretty too.
