RAC Auto Services Myaree

As a member of RAC, you would think there was a service proposition to maintain customers satisfaction.Went for an essential service that comes with a vacuum and wash. Car wash half washed and vacuum.If a business has a service proposition, a customer would anticipate that you would as a business would execute.We have been members fot years, these days, I don't think loyalty counts for anything anymore.Will try alternatives before going back and may be looking at insurances else where too.

Good but disappointed that I had to pay so much labour when they were already doing work ie I had Head gasket changed but they were already removing engine coil and replacing spark plugs ( half of what was need to get to gasket) and I was still charged full labour

In a totally positive manner, from the prompt response from the initial call out service man, to the tow truck man who dropped me off near home and the service people who kept me in the loop and had the car repaired when they said it would be done. No messing around it was excellent 5 star service throughout.

Ridiculous service. My car was sent to them for a diagnosis , and upon diagnosis they told me they need a specialist to repair it and I need to book the specialist.Upon booking they told me it will reach to the repairer before 5 pm by their tow trucks. But it never left the yard. Upon speaking to the girl at Myaree she told me the car has left and after calRAC customer service told the car never left and it is scheduled for tomorrow

Car took 8 days instead of 2 days to repair after they damaged a part which needed to be ordered from interstate. I was told to hire a car after I complained and was told I would be reimbursed. I never heard back from them. Never again will they get any of my vehicles again.

I have been with RAC for more than 20 years now and overall quite satisfied with the service level for their road assistance. Their road assistance service is top of the level. I rang them to ask about their towing service and it has been absolutely great. I was offered to tow my car to their nearest RAC Auto service at no cost to me rather than going to the dealer. I agreed with it as I would not want to get extra cost of towing it to the dealer (as more than 10 km allowance). I was advised that the branch will call me the following morning to update me with what's wrong with my car, etc. But no phone call received. I rang them in the late afternoon and they were saying they still went through the queues for the last 2 days, but seconds later, they can let me know what's wrong with my car and they promised to ring me the following morning for quote, which they didn't. And 2 days later, I have to ring them again and they promised to ring me back later, which they did. I have to keep calling them to ask the progress of the repair. When I picked it up, I asked where the car is. They said if it is not there, it is on the other side. Come on, where is the customer service? I also asked if they can show me which parts that they were replaced. They just said I don't know as I am not the one who fixed your car" Really ? It would be much better to say "Sure

After a standard inspection I received my car back with the drivers door covered in engine grime. PLS see pics. I did not receive the Service Report allowing me to know the result of inspection as promised. The desk clerk stated a most recent brand new high quality part was the fault, lol ! When I said no thanks to the fix...Will keep you posted...

My mazda 3 was towed there due to water coolant outlet burst a week ago and they asked me water coolant outlet and thermostat needs to be replaced. Once they repair car and deliver it to me there was knock sensor error engine check light and car was producing rattling noise on acceleration as well. But later I realize they did not pluged in knock sensor which was giving knock sensor engine light. Also they disassembled IMRC solenoid to replace broken water coolant outlet and while reassembling they connected vaccum hose line to wrong port( nipple) of IMRC solenoid and that was the cause of rattling noise. Apart from that there was slide crack on reservoir hose that was connected to water coolant outlet which they should have checked before connecting. Due to this again coolant was leaking. I had to go to another Mechanics to sort out all those issues and paid money again, as RAC were saying another appointment is only after a month and I cant drive a car with faulty error code, leaking coolant and rattling noise.

Had my car towed and serviced there at recommendation of RAC lady on phone who booked the tow. She said they had availability to service it (whereas my usual mechanic nearby was fully booked). My car has been there three days. I have spent over an hour on hold (in total) trying to get through to the Myaree service centre to get an update on my car. No update yesterday despite a promise they would call. Have got through today to hear they clocked off at 1pm yesterday for EOFY ‘meetings’ and even though they’re open today, they’re only working on cars booked in for today. So, more Uber expenses. If they had informed me yesterday that my car would not be ready in the afternoon, I would have hired a car for my weekend work and driving kids around and getting to and from work (30 mins away) on Monday. Very unprofessional and unaccountable. Won’tBe using the RAC Myaree Service Centre again or recommending it to anyone.

Mechanic sent out was very promplt and helpful. Tow-truck driver was rude and didn't wear mask correctly. Phones down at service centre the next day - took most of day on hold trying to find out what was happening. But matter was dealt with properly.
