Hermitage Hotel
Visited a few country pubs this past month and found this one to be my favourite. You'll find the town and pub have this beautiful energy and that energy extends to the staff who just seemed so genuine, treating you with the same warmth as they do with the regulars. The menu is short and simple and done well. We'll come back for sure!

What a fantastic place! We stayed on a Sunday night. Pizza night and the best pizza I've eaten in years. Accommodation was so comfortable, clean and staff are amazing. Top place. Look forward to returning

Great small town pub. Amazing heritage building. Staff are always friendly. Great size and very well cooked meals with a great variety for a local pub. Love it.

We arrived for Melbourne Cup on Tuesday (2022) and had a lovely meal. Then downstairs for the televised race. Some of our group were lucky enough to win in the sweeps organised at the hotel. Later in the week (Saturday) we returned for the Sound and Light Show" (available 6 times a year

What a fabulous place. Very friendly, helpful staff. We stayed for 2 nights. Warm, comfortable rooms. Good selection for breakfast and we had lunch and dinner which were delicious, pub food. Good choice of wine.

Went there for New Years eve,for a meal with friends..My steak was ordered medium with salad. The salad,if you could call it that,was,in a tiny metal dish,lettuce,cabbage,and small tomato,I couldn't believe it...The steak,around the edges was cooked,get to the middle,RAW,I couldn't eat it.Complained the to person clearing table,didn't seem interested at all.Then the owner comes around and asked about our meals,so,I expressed my disgust to her,her solution,you should have told me I would have taken it back and cooked it a bit more for you...I was,to say the least,gobsmacked..This meal cost $39.I'm not tight by any means,but,i believe you should get what you pay for,in this instance,not by a long shot...

I stayed in lovely little Harrow over the Easter long weekend. We camped at Joe’s bend over looking Glenelg River. It was serene. I left my reading glasses at the hotel after dinner and drinks one night. I came home to Adelaide and after contacting one of the locals I befriended, I received a text from Harrow Hermitage Hotel saying they had found my glasses. They posted them to me! How lovely!!Beautiful little town in essence and people.
