Point Turton Caravan Park

lovely little Caravan Park 50 sites and 8 waterfront sites, 10 deluxe cabins and 3 luxpods. Pets are allowed in the Caravan areas. Jetty and boat ramp adjacent to park with a Tavern a very short walk away.

Lovely location & extremely clean park however we had a group next to us that partied, and smoked, until 1am on our first night all while they had their music pumping. . At 7am the music started again and we just knew it was going to be an awful weekend for us. Management did try to tell them to stop but it fell on deaf ears. We had already paid for the full 3 nights unfortunately. I let management know we were leaving after only 1 night but they never replied to the two messages we sent and no refund has been offered. Very disappointed.

This is one of our favourite caravan parks! The location is THE BEST!! Dani & Malcom are wonderful. The park is in immaculate condition. The camp kitchen, laundry and bathrooms are fantastic and always clean. Make sure you book well in advance (a few months a least - more if it’s a public holiday or holidays) as they book out quickly!

We have stayed here 3 times now and it is one of our favourite place. Hope it doesn't lose it peaceful relaxed atmosphere like Port Hughes and Moo ta have. This time we are had a big rig site and will always book one from now on. Only negative is lack of a shower block in big rig area which we were told before hand. We have our own so wasn't an issue for us. Great views great staff..Only negative I can mention was the extremely loud music from the tavern. Hense 4 stars not 5.

Amazing spot! The place is sparkling clean, toilets, kitchen, everything was in perfect conditions. Just in front of the sea and the stingrays, awesome

A great small CP located right at the jetty. Really clean amenities, well equipped kitchen and great value for money. Appreciated the mobile BBQ on Tuesday night, good food at great prices. See you next year.

It's okay. Too many restrictions about washing your vehicle/boat/dog on your grassed plot you rent. But people seem to do it anyway. Says it's dog friendly but no dog walking area - just a lot of rules about not allowing your dog here/there etc. Very busy park with high turnover. A lot of grumpy old people!! As for the fishing - well there's not much there. Over fished. After exploring more of the York Peninsula, I'd say there's nicer places. 2-3 days is more than enough to spend here. There's a fishing charter guy that is promoted by the park. We found him to be quite rude, and his customer service was sadly lacking so we didn't end up going on his boat. Didn't miss much apparently. Would I go back? Nope. Would any of the others who travelled with us? I doubt it.

After spending Easter at an overly busy caravan park previous years we decided to stay at point turton this Easter and I’m so glad we did!! Our families and my husband , kids and I had a beautiful grassy Seaview powered site, a very clean deluxe cabin with again a beautiful sea view for the parents and also a very swanky luxe pod for the grandparents! Every bit of accommodation was flawless! The park is super clean, close to some of the most beautiful beaches and walking distance to the tavern.Dani and Malcolm are the nicest, most accommodating and welcoming park owners we have ever come across and nothing is too much trouble! We had one of us have a fall after trying to give one of the kids a piggy back and unfortunately hit the ground head first, after calling and waiting for the ambulance, a lovely guest staying at the park “Jodie” who was an ambulance worker came over to help us and also was Dani the park owner over and a young girl to help us, this was absolutely wonderful to have such kind hearted caring people rush over to help!Highly recommend anyone wanting to stay here, all accommodation is great and it’s the most welcoming park!

We parked up here for 8 nights and had the absolute best time! The location is stunning with dolphins keen to follow your boat right at the boat ramp. The amenities are immaculate, after staying at many parks, these are hotel grade clean. The camp kitchen was a lifesaver when we ran out of gas, massive clean kitchen, toaster/microwave/fridge all clean & good to use. The sites, beautifully maintained. The laundry room was great. Washing machine & dryer to use with just a few gold coins.We also found the people there to be so kind, not only the staff/owners (who were too kind) but the people staying, we made so many friends during our stay who gave us plenty of advice, places to see even some yummy recipes! Can’t rave more about this place, my partner, Pup & I can’t wait to come back!

Such a lovely place! We just had a 3 night stay in one of the luxpods with our 11m old baby. It had everything you would need for a little get away, it was clean and had nice modern features. The owners were so friendly and accomodating, just good people. We will definitely be coming back!
