Sutton Spring Art & Spa Retreats

We recently stayed at the Saturna Arts Retreat and had the best time. Cherie was most helpful arranging our booking and we were very happy with everything. The accommodation is clean, comfortable, peaceful and full of character with interesting artworks. The outdoor spa, fireplace, and balcony create such a cozy and zen atmosphere. We also loved walking to the Wombat State forest which can be seen from the balcony. We really felt relaxed after our stay and would love to come back again. Great for couples and now we are tempted book multiple properties with friends for a group getaway.

We stayed for 2 nights. The Salt Spring 3 bedroom accommodation was so good! Clean and comfortable. We loved looking around and seeing so much quirky artwork. Even the gardens had many hidden surprise art work.Beds were comfy, had everything we needed.Will definitely return. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately I had to leave my accommodation after 2 hours due to no phone or internet services.Having children at home that I need to be in contact with having an SOS only service was not acceptable.The business page clearly states free unlimited wifi. Others in my group also had no coverage.The owner sent over her cleaning lady to check things were working. She said it happens frequently and there was nothing that could be done.I did appreciate Cherie tried but if this is a constant issue I think guests need to be forewarned.I asked to be compensated as we are out of pocket $750 but this was refused.It’s a lovely place if you want no contact with the outside world.As this was a working holiday I could not do my job which was incredibly frustrating.

Perfect for the lovers of Art. The garden is full of sculptures, interesting plants, fruit trees and a pond. Inside the accommodation it is nicely decorated with pictures, sculptures, comfortable furniture and interesting books. The Hot tub was amazing but my favourite area was the outside bath. Thankyou we loved our stay.

We were overall disappointed with our stay, this was our first visit and we were quite looking forward to it based on past reviews. The cottage smelled mouldy even with the windows open. There were too many chlorine tablets in the hot tub which created quite a strong smell and we were unable to enjoy it. The doona was not in the cover, and the cover was just placed on top of the doona. The location was great though and close to shops/cafes.

It’s Just wild !! I mean this place has a wildlife theme. Which makes it so unique. It’s a place where you can switch off everything in your busy life and just enjoy the calm and peace around you. We stayed in salt spring which was comfortable. Personal spa was pretty cool. You won’t feel like coming out of it once you are in. Every bedroom has its own lovely balcony opening up to the beautiful greenery. Not everyone would like this theme. But if you are looking for something different and peaceful with a wild theme this the best place.The only one thing minus about Salt spring apartment was its not kids friendly. Other than that it’s just serene.

We booked here a couple of weeks ago, unfortunately we had to leave before we could really enjoy the facilities. The owners were pretty amazing and gave us credit so we could use it again. We've stayed in two buildings. Taxido is the smaller of the two, but I really Salt Springs, 2 stories, 2 bedrooms with a small walk to the spa. Facilities are good and decor interesting. Quirky sculptures dotting the lovely gardens. The complimentary wine is a nice touch even if it's not the best drop. Overall, a pretty good spot.
