The starters were tasty, the chicken Rogan Josh was so full of flavour, all made from scratch with whole spices, I highly recommend this little country restaurant.

My hamburger was comfortably the second worst burger I have ever eaten. After waiting almost 20 minutes as the only customers for our order of chips, 1 hamburger and 1 chicken burger, I was presented with a paper wrapped burger. Upon opening it, the first think I noted was the water in the wrapping paper. Little odd, but started eating. First bite was met with a strange crunch and mouthful of cold mush. I opened the burger to examine the contents further. I observed 1 slice of beetroot- cold. 1 slice of tomato- cold. The white heart of a lettuce unchopped- cold and full of water. 1 kraft single slice of cheese- cold. 1 meat patty- cool. 2 buns- bottom bun literally dripping water when I poked it. I removed the white chunk of lettuce heart and tried to continue eating. Next bite took me to a nice pink bit of cold meat patty. Not an expert on meat, definitely not how I would expect a processed meat patty to be cooked though. Burger was overall horrid and only made it half way through. The wife said chicken burger- a crumbed patty- was tolerable but cold too. Chips were very hot but undercooked. I assume the burgers were done first and left for 10 minutes on the bench because chips were forgotten. Staff member was polite, otherwise would be 1 star. Definitely never returning.

Stopped for coffee. What a gorgeous gem to find in the most unusual location. The coffee was great, so was the carrot cake. Was so taken with the place, ordered a beef curry and rice to take home. Magic idea my evening meal was delightful. --- The Punjab Cafe & Restaurant of Woolooga is on my regular drive list. Already looking forward to my next coffee break.
