Today, Sunday 2 June we joined the whale watching cruise from Augusta. For the last couple of weeks there were plentiful reports of sightings, so our expectations were high!We were about 2 dozen people onboard a modern boat. We started with a safety brief followed by an introduction to the whales we could expect to see, by a biologist.Approx. 15 mins. after leaving the harbour we saw the first whale - a juvenile humpback - which we followed from a safe distance for about 30 minutes until we spotted 3 other whales. We finalised the tour with a playful whale jumping back and forth (photo attached).We were very happy with the tour, not only because we got to see whales but also for all the information we got.

Bremer Bay Canyon, Orca (Killer Whale) Tour. Thursday 10th January 2019.What a spectacular trip ! Definitely very unique, the Crew are fabulous & have a knack of making you feel like part of the team.The Motor Catamaran is ideal, low & with lots of good viewing positions. There was about 15 passengers, 5 crew & 2 photographers on board. We all had heaps of room to view the Killer Whales. I guess we saw around 30 Orcas in total.A few of us were a little sea sick, including me (3 metre swell on the way out there) but in the middle of the day the seas settled down & most of us came good. I’m just saying this to convince you to pop some sea sick tablets before you head off.Food was appropriate, nibblies, fruit, wraps & sandwiches for this type of Boat Tour. My mate & I really had an excellent day. Initially I thought the Tour was a little on the pricey side, but now I’ve experienced it first hand I think it was reasonable value. Thanks

Amazing experience, well worth the drive from Perth. The whole crew is so helpful and positive, makes the whole thing even better. We've seen heaps of humpbacks, literally only a few hundred metres away from the shore. Would definitely recommend!

Have always been a bit weary on these whale watching tours as to whether we would truly be able to see any whales up close. Well I happy to report that any reservation I previously had were all but gone once we spotted one of many sightings of the humpback whales who were migrating down south on Thier way to Antarctica. It was truly an experience and fully recommended. The crew went out of Thier way to ensure that we all had every opportunity to view the whales. Awesome trip out and well worth your time and money.

If you can't decide which whalewatch company to go for I'd highly recommend Naturaliste Charters.Having been on numerous whale watch tours in WA, the tours with Naturaliste Charters were by far the most enjoyable and my favourite.Their staff is super friendly, helpful and down to earth.The marinebiologist on board provides you with all the knowledge about whales and their behaviour and answers all the questions you may have.We have been on the Orca tour in Bremer Bay and just recently visited Augasta for a humpback whale tour!Can't wait to be back on board!

Recently went on a whale watching tour with this company and they promised everything they said. Not only did we see plenty of whales.. we also saw a mum and her calf and dolphins. They crew were exceptional and made myself and my family feel so welcome. They had an excellent knowledge base and also great fun to be around. A magical experience that was worth the money!

We had a great time on the Dunsborough whale watching tour over the weekend. So amazing to see these beautiful creatures up close. Matt, Kyle and the crew were great - highly knowledgable and friendly. Thanks again - would highly recommend both to locals and people visiting the area.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE. I went out two days, Captain Jamie knew just where the hot spot was and found orcas two days. The second day, I was incredibly privileged to see the orcas hunt a beaked whale and calf. The crew were fantastic, they had Marine Biologists on board to answer any questions. The first day the water was a bit rough but the boat is rated for heavy weather. Some ppl were seasick so vw prepared. Go with these guys, as the other company didnt go out for either day. I can't recommend these guys highly enough!! Well worth the trip from Adelaide!!

Wonderful experience with Naturaliste Charters who were friendly, professional and really knew where to find the whales and were a font of knowledge about them! Unbelievable to see Humpback and Blue whales with their calves and even a wicked breach right in front of us! Will definitely go again and will go to Bremer to see the Killer Whales in Jan. Thanks Crew - Loved it!
