Helpful and consistent work. I contacted LJW Solar first and should have stopped there. I was given time to shop around but along the way LJW was happy to answer questions the other guys just didn't want to hear. The installers were exactly the same guys who worked on my mates house and they were very professional and courteous. They installed a very efficient battery ready 6 kW pv system neatly and designed to the needs of my family. These guys are trustworthy and I feel very confident with their work. Thanks again team LJW Solar!

LJW Solar has just completed a solar installation at our church site in Rouse Hill. The Company worked with us to identify the best system for our site. They were patient as we considered timing of the project. The Company delivered on time and on budget. The technical team was efficient and considered our needs. The Company continues to support us as we complete the connection to our energy retailer.

We spent $64,000 on an off-grid solar system with LJW Solar. The install was quoted with a kubota generator to be connected as the backup generator. We had been using the generator on a different solar setup on the other side of the farm for 12 months working flawlessly with the auto start. On the day of the install after 2 hours for the installer trying to connect the generator (after me obtaining the kubota schematics from the kubota technician in Melbourne) he called his boss and said he couldn't get it going. The boss told him not to spend any more time on it and that they have no more time allocated for it. After arguing the point I was told someone else would attend on another occasion to fix it.The install team were staying in Bathurst 35 minutes away. I waited for them to return the following day. When they never arrived, I called up. The answer I got was that it was foggy in Bathurst so they figured it was foggy where I was so they kept driving home to Dubbo from memory. It was clear all day at my place and I don't get fog at my elevation. They also promised to fix a problem on my hay shed solar system. After a quick look at it they walked away from it even though they said it was a professional install. They didn't want to spend their time helping a farmer out.I was also promised someone else would arrive a couple of weeks later. When I didn't get any contact I called to be told the bloke drove from Dubbo to my place (2 hours 46 minutes) and the gate was locked so he went back to Dubbo. Really! Would you drive that far without calling in advance, and when you were at the locked gate you would think to at least call to say please unlock the gate"). Well he never called once. They just didn't try to turn up.I followed up for well over 18 months with this company to install my generator. I had paid for it after all to be installed. They kept arguing that I had a faulty auto start for the kubota and that I needed to replace it before they could get it fixed. I knew the unit worked and that LJW was just trying to get out of installing it. They also argued that they never knew that they had to install that generator and that auto start module (and that it wasn't a 2 wire autostart when it was) even though I told them on several occasions on the phone and in writing via email (still have the emails).I had to call their inverter supplier to try and run me through where they went wrong. First thing we found is they connected wiring to the wrong relay in the inverter. Then I had to contact the kubota technician to run me through some testing. Turns out they had power running through the auto start module when there shouldn't be any power. I couldn't get it any further though as I couldn't figure out the mess of wiring at the generator. After 18 months I needed to find another solar contractor to come pay him to install the generator. Within 10 minutes he figured out what was wrong. The generator was wired up incorrectly and so was the auto start. And of course they connected it wrong to the inverter as well.My bill from the new contractor to fix the stuff up - $726.00.Have LJW re-imbursed me for this expense and my months of troubles - NO.Would I recommend this company to anyone - No way in hell.WARNING - You will get someone talking nice and patiently with you through the whole sales and quotation process promising you the world. My sales person was Luke Williams. I waited a couple of months for the job to start. Then things went sour as soon as the contractors turned up. No follow up phone calls. No return calls or emails when they didn't want to finish the job.If you want to pay someone for solar

This company is true professional solar company.I have my solar inverter stopped working. I had 4 solar company quotes and LJW came with very fair rate where they will charge based on half an hour rate rather than hourly rate. They informed me half an hour is more than enough to troubleshoot all the issueI just received phone call today, rather than buying new inverter they found the issue of my solar inverter problem.First, I recommend for others to have this company a go for any issues on your solar panel anytimeSecondly, I wouldn't bother to search other company for my solar panel purpose since i found one alreadyThanks guys!

I first met Luke back in 1997 when he was tinkering with trackers for solar panels from his chook shed in Glenorie. We now run holiday cabins at Newnes from a stand alone solar system installed by LJW Solar. After 13 years our batteries finally gave up. All cabins booked and no power - all hell broke lose.Despite the current problems of supply from China Luke sourced a new set of batteries from 'his secret supplies'(?) and the amazing guys from LJW got us going again within a week. That is remarkable and I am deeply indebted.Top company and highly recommended !

Wow !My current home had solar panels already installed. We had another company" come out to fix it as it stopped working. It stopped working again 1 hr after they left. They said "well then the Inverter has to be replaced -$2000" and wouldn't return to check that's all it was....I called LJW Solar -they arrived the same day & a little early too. They replaced a faulty Switch -$90 !The 2 guys were extremely professional

Truly outstanding! A few words that spring to mind; ethical, high integrity, competent, responsive, knowledgeable, delightful to deal with. The crews that turned up to install were the same...delightful, courteous, helpful, always kept us up to speed with what was happening. It was a delight having them here. Whenever they came inside for roof access they always removed their boots. Would strongly recommend this company and it's people. We are thrilled with everything they have done. Our electrician had recommended them and we are so pleased he did. Weren't the cheapest nor the most expensive, but they seemed to a) know what they were talking about and b) were the best at explaining all about it. Although a novice in this field I had a technical background and wanted to ask many more questions than most. Always got straight answers! Thrilled.

You want the best quality right? Total value for money - the best service - Expert support - The best back-up - You can't beat LWJ Solar! We made enquiries about installing Solar in early 2018. We met up with Jack at LJW Solar at our home and we were sold immediately with the level of expertise and knowledge he showed - No BS - he told us what we needed to achieve the level we hoped for. (He suggested we wait another 12 months to discuss a battery as they were too expensive at that time.). Over the next 15 months, with 17 top quality panels and a new power box (upgraded from the existing 1969 model) our quarterly bill has dropped to a 20% to 30% from where it was. The system will have paid for itself by mid 2020. It helps to follow the advise from LJW re changing usage habits.Recently we had an issue with the brilliant Solar analysis system where it turns out we needed a transmission upgrade. LJW Solar & Jack stepped in and had the system fixed with a new antenna and installation - no charge. These guys know what they are doing. You wont find anywhere better. I Highly Recommend you call them if you want the best Solar system including top level service and quality without being ripped off!!

Original system which was 10 years old degraded to the point where it would not be supported by the original provider / installer nor the manufacturer. Was referred to LJW by the original provider and after serious review of the original installation the decision was taken to remove it and replace the entire system – upgraded in capacity and also to ensure total compliance with current standards – which the original system did not.The quotation was discussed and the design finalised with LJW effecting the removal and replacement in the advised time.System is three phase, twenty Q cell Peak Duo-G5 panels at 330 watt, SMA 5kW inverter, Solar Analytics, supports rails, cabling etc..Installation was trouble free, labour was there on time and helpful in explaining all.System has now operated across one full clear billing cycle and has performed in all respects as expected.Weather varies with the highest daily output measured at 43.8 kWhrs produced – the lowest daily output being 6 kWhrs. Average daily export was 18.92 kWhrs per day with 8.26 kWhrs per day used on site. These figures come from the Solar Analytics monitor. After the bill is received one will see the total cost – this quarter $130 or so BUT the jewel in the crown is knowing that the Solar Analytics tells you what you have USED on site from the sun before export. The bill does not do this as the power provider has no idea what you have used directly so the end result is actually a credit of an additional $230 against the bill of $130. Using SA lets you quantify the power used before metering is applied.Overall a great result – we are very happy and would seriously recommend LJW and Solar Analytics.
