Above All Mechanical

Took my car in for the front brakes to be done. Received the car back with the brakes done and the ABS light on, no mention about the ABS light on the invoice or mentioned at the time of payment. Rang the next day to bring the car back for a look. Took it back and it wasn't even looked at, was told as soon as i walked in it needed 2 x ABS sensors for $1400.Took it to another mechanic and the brake hubs had been reassembled incorrectly. Was left out of pocket with a non roadworthy vehicle due to the mechanics incompetency. Won't be back

Charged me $1600 to replace coils in my car however only changed the spark plugs. Took my car home to his house for two days once it was finished. I’m sure he will make some excuse as per other bad reviews however beware and ask for invoices for parts if you choose to use and check your in car camera! The car had already been for a test drive (on camera). They did not give me a loan car as alleged below (I only found out when I checked my camera due to car not being on site when I went to collect and turned up 20 mins later) and my camera showed my car being parked on the street outside their house for two days! The lies are amazing!

Took my truck for them to fix a break problem, then it went out of their service with the same problems. Had to take it back to them in order to get it finally sorted, but instead I was charged again a highly price for a service that they didn't finish at the first time. At the end it cost me almost $5000 all up, besides the money I spent hiring another vehicles to do the jobs I had already booked and no getting money cancelling the ones I couldn't find another truck to replace.

BE VERY CAREFUL BACKPACKERS. 0 STARS FOR THIS WORKSHOP. Had the problem that my battery is not charged by the alternator. Battery was fine only empty, as it is not loaded. Told him that he should please fix it no matter what has to go in even it’s a new alternator and all the electric stuff because otherwise we have no affordable accommodation. Left us stand for 1.5 days. Had to leave the workshop and see what we do at 30 degrees in the sun on the street over by 12 hours. Last night he wanted $700 cash, no invoice.changed only the battery so that we can get far enough not to come back. Said everything is going on. Have come a few kilometres and are stuck again in a village. Surely even more things are now broken. Let Toyota check it out after NYE. HE SHAMELESSLY EXPLOITED OUR HELPLESSNESS.And Lucas before you say this is a fake comment. I have a chat, pictures and a towing job from RACQ to your Workshop during christmas time.

They seemed great in the beginning but I will never use them again .. I lost trust as I had to take my car back several times to get aircon fixed and each time something else went wrong .. Tried several times to contact Lucas .. he never answer the phone nor did he return my messages .. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Unless. I doubt there is a real mechanic amongst any of them. After my breakes were done and drove away trusting they were fixed properly they immediately felt spongy and wrong. As it was Friday afternoon I couldn't return straight away. First thing Monday morning i returned to have them looked at again only I didn't make it all the way before my foot went straight to the floor, breake piston pushed out and all fluid leaked on the ground. Anything that comes out of the mouths of this company is an outright lie and deflection of blame. I have read these reviews and the replies from them. What a joke. Do not use this company it will end in tears. However on the plus side they did hang a 50c smelly thing from my mirror. Even that fell off around the corner...

I've had my car serviced by Lucas and team for over three years now. The service has always been good, and Lucas has gone out of his way to source cheaper options. Recently had to have my transmission replaced and Lucas took care with every step and also provided a 6 month guarantee on the service.
