Wallace Bishop Chermside

After a so-so experience at North Lakes, I was thrilled at the great service I received at Chermside from (self professed new hire) Remick.Admittedly, Wallace Bishops returns policies are a lot more restrictive than a lot of other jewellery retailers (you'll win A LOT more sales in gift giving season if people don't need to be afraid of being out of pocket when the gift is not liked by the recipient), but after Remicks amazing help I'll likely be coming back very soon in any case.EDIT: Came back, this time I was assisted by Erika. I can see why she is store manager - she was so helpful, more personable than staff at the other jewellers, and she made sure everything was solved for me. She is the sort of person who should be manager, and strongly recommend considering her for any higher roles if they come up. She's a credit to the industry and to your business.

Even in this really hectic Christmas rush, it's awesome to receive great customer service. Was told a piece of jewellery would be put on hold for me. At the Chermside store, a smart young bloke named Connor went and got my item as he had put it away for me. Fantastic service. Have a very Merry Christmas. Thanks Connor.

Terrible communications.I had initially put 2 rings in to be resized down. After 5 weeks of no communication I went to the store where I was told one ring was ready but the other had been sent back 3 times to be re done and kept coming back to the store in the same condition. I took the ring as is and took it to another jeweler for repair.The repair on one ring broke under 12 months. I took it back where is was repaired again under warranty and I asked them to check my contact details as I had to chase them up last time. The assistant confirmed all my details back to me.Three weeks later after no communication I checked at the store. The ring had been there for nearly 2 weeks with a note on it stating “number doesn’t work”.

Yesterday my husband and I walked pass by the shop at Chermside ,I saw a cute pearl necklace, I asked a lady (manager with European accent), she said 500 something, and I just asked her if they have discount, she was so rude , and mean, treaded us like we never can afford this… my husband asked her if you have another pearl thing, she was like “south sea pearl even more expensive.”We said thank you and walked away, and the next day we went to Paspaley , got a pretty pearl she thought we never could afford.Poor customer service, and really low attitude as a person.

Hello,I wanted to do a small review to highlight the superb customer service at Wallace Bishop Chermside last week. Even though I didn’t buy anything on the day we were browsing, I felt very comfortable with the way we were made to feel valued as a customer. I am writing this review to let you know about the fabulous customer service we received from Amelia and the staff at Wallace Bishop Chermside. On a recent trip from Bundaberg we called into your store to purchase a birthday gift for my friend’s daughter. We didn’t know what we wanted so Amelia took the time and walked us through various items after asking us various questions about who we were buying for. Her patience and helpfulness were outstanding and we felt like she had all the time in the world for us. We ended up purchasing a beautiful necklace as the gift and I myself purchased a watch and a bracelet which I hadn’t intended to purchase but after seeing what she showed us I couldn’t help myself. Amelia’s attention to customer service, product knowledge and understanding customers needs are an asset to the store and your company. We look forward to coming into your store again on our next visit to Brisbane.

My other half decided to do something nice for me & took himself to Chermside. He went into Wallace Bishop there & Amelia The store manager went through a range of questions about me with him & sent him home with the most amazing diamond ring Which I love...!! This lady knows her stuff. I went in to thank her & came out with half my Christmas shopping already done...!! Wow, the professionalism, kindness, courtesy & pure class of this lady was totally amazing to see & I'm so happy with her conduct to both of us... She mentioned she sells Tags, so I guess that's what hubby's getting for Christmas...!! Thank you Amelia's for your warmth & beautiful recommendations we love it & sure the Christmas gifts will be a hit...!! A+

Poor customer service!Ordered a Tag Heuer watch on 1/9, paid 25% deposit and was promised that the new watch will arrive in store on 2/9 or latest 4/9. Called the store on 5/9, was told that the order was not even actioned and hence watch did not arrive in store. Called again on 6/9, the person on the phone could not even find the order, then was told if the person yesterday said it will arrive

My friend recently visited Wallace Bishop and received amazing service from Amelia so I visited the store today and he was correct. I received the most excellent service from her today. She listened to what I was after and we found the perfect one. I too will highly recommend my friends to come shop at Chermside and I look forward to visiting the store again. Store manager taught us a lesson. If you walk into a jewellery shop make sure you’re wearing your Sunday finest with some drip. Was treated like we were wasting her time.
