Mel is a bloody legend! Honestly couldn’t recommend him more and with decades and decades of experience it’s a no brainer. Mel got me in for a service on my vehicle very quickly and was thorough in his craftsmanship as he went over my vehicle with a fine tooth comb and provided good advice for the future as-well, all works were done in a very professional and timely manner. It’s great to know that there’s still legendary old school mechanics around and I will definitely be coming back for future services. Cheers, Matt.

Mel is not only a top mechanic but a gentleman. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem I had with my Toyota Prado air suspension when no one else was willing to look at the issue. Would definitely recommend Mel not only for his wealth of knowledge but also very fair with his prices.

It’s rare to recommend a mechanic these days but Mel’s is a great business with straightforward service and knowledgeable mechanic.The garage is tucked away just behind Middy’s so can be hard to find. I took my car here for a rego check. They let me book in same day and had a good chat while going over the inspection.They are cash only but did allow me to pay via bank transfer, so just be aware. I’ll likely bring back my car for it’s next service here.
