River Bend Caravan Park

Hard to believe this place was once a nudist camp!We stayed for a week and had a good time.The amenities were quite old but functional. Some showers we're very slow flow and others fast flow (use the one closest to the external wall as these had more pressure).On checkin we were not provided any information from the staff other than where our site was.The Goulburn river is close (5 min) walk and provides a cool place to swim.The sites are very small and only services provided are a drinking water tap and power, no wastewater drain.Mobile coverage is very patchy, but there is a wifi in places that provides some internet.The small snack shop near the pool does NOT take EFTPOS, but don't worry if you forget the lovely man will remind you with a gruff.Night noise curfew was not enforced and did alow many campers to make noise well up to midnight.The park is about 20 min from Echuca on a gravel road, please drive safely on this one.Overall a place to sleep, was clean, provided what we needed at a price that was also fair.

When we booked a nights accomodation we were told the cabin we were to stay in was budget accomodation. For the hundred odd dollars we paid the cabin was terrible and wasn't worth half of the amount. Didn't bother staying. Sorry to the owners for our honesty.

A peaceful place in the middle of nature. You wanna spend a weekend or a couple of days away from all the hustle with someone close. Just sit there , have a drink, and TALK. Rome around come back , sit , drink, talk.Good facility, well maintained by a lovely and welcoming ppl. I would definitely go back

A hidden gem in the bush! We love this park and the owners Geoff and Mera are very welcoming and lovely to deal with. If you like open spaces and not being cramped on top of each other then this is the place for you! Beautifully kept and well maintained caravan park. The cabins are a little older BUT very clean and neat and have everything you need. The pool and rec room is a great set up and being right next to each other. The park has an old school and relaxed feel about it which is so nice unless you like the modern and sterile vibe. Beautiful views and lots of fishing spots in walking distance. I recommend stocking up in town first as it is about a 15 min drive in from Echuca on a dirt road BUT well worth it! Cape Horn winery is about a 5 minute drive also.Thanks for having us Geoff! Nice quiet spot, bird watching, fishing has a small shop with essentials, no phone reception but has telstra hot spot, near shop

I am giving this 5 stars because we love coming here. It's a bush camp caravan park, so dont expect 5 star amenities. But they are always clean, the hosts are amazing always friendly and helpful. There is pretty much zero phone reception or WiFi but this is one of the reasons it's so great.

If you want a quiet peaceful place a decent distance from town then this place is a good option, particularly the campsites which are on a nice grassed area. We also hired kayaks which were fun. The manager was chatty & helpful. The pool room was fun & the pool looks fine.We hired the pet friendly cabin which was fine for our small dog.My only criticism is the units are a bit dated & you perhaps would be wise to compare an air bnb price with a cabin. You MAY get a better quality place for a similiar cost

The cabin great & well stocked with everything any one needed. My only grouse was the directions to get to the camp sight. More signage would have been good. In the summer I am sure would be a great place to be.
