Hired a car in Townsville for 4 days. Staff were great - very accommodating. Highly recommend rental from here

Tipper ute for dealing with green wate makes the job very easy. 2 people commented on a great way to move green waste whilst they unloaded box trailer and ute.Vehicle was ready, process was easy especially as I have previously used them.Return was simple. They checked for new damages just like every other rental vehicle.Used them previously for tipper but also extra car during wedding 2023.Friendly service, most comprehensive damage reports especially compared to major car rental firms. Never needed to take photos where as the others I do and it has helped several times.Good service.

Needed a car at the last minute. MYUTE was very affordable, usual rental companies were twice the price.Vehicle was immaculately clean and I couldn't find many of the cosmetic damage items listed on the check sheet.Staff were lovely to deal with.Definitely using MYUTE again if I need a car (or a Ute)

Fantastic service with a smile!

Have used this business since before they were called 'My Ute'.Rented ute Thursday 4.30pm for 24 hours. Paid $200 deposit. Knew rules had changed with regard deposit and driver being same, so used balance of MY money to pay.RETURNED 3.00PM FRIDAY (CLOSE AT 6.00.. 3 HOURS, HOW MANY OTHER RETURNS??) Vehicle inspected, all good. But ..Deposit refund was REJECTED. Reason .. WE HAVE REACHED OUR REFUND LIMIT FOR THE DAY. (Again, how many others by 6.00)Will manually do next morning! Had booked cab to get home. Oh so sorry ! Its the bank's fault.(LOL)Rang next day (Saturday) to be told had been processed, should be back in my account by WEDNESDAY.. 5 DAYS!!Unfortunately I was never given a copy of the current contract (email ??), so I can't quote verbatim, but my understanding of previous dealings, and A DEPOSIT to be refunded on vehicle being returned in good condition, is that MY MONEY should have been IMMEDIATELY returned to ME!!This IS NOT their money or the bank's money, but money to be held in TRUST !?!Perhaps I should have kept the keys as a DEPOSIT on the return of MY MONEY !

I always use these guys. Probably the cheapest cars in Townsville and they collect me and drop off at the airport.
