The Lost Loaf
One of the best bakeries in Adelaide, I came here many times and every time I had the same great experience. I tried most of their products (donuts, sourdough bread, croissants, and tarts). Every thing is delicious and fresh. I highly recommend it. Their donut is the best in Adelaide in my opinion.

The LOST loaf:Miserable female staff seemed to have LOST the mood for readonable customer service.Pro TIp: If you are working in the customer service arena try not to make the customer feel so belittled that they are inspired to leave a bad review.Congratulations you have now LOST a loyal customer.

Insanely good baguettes. You'd be happy with them and some good butter. Very good croissants and danishes too. The word artisanal is thrown around a lot these days. It applies here.

Absolutely delicious sourdough, the fruit loaf is incredible. It’s now a weekly visit! The baguettes are sooo delicious with home made meatball’s. Can’t wait to grab some more bread. Cannot go back to supermarket bread since buying from the Lost Loaf. I just wish they were able to be sliced as I can’t get them cut evenly haha.

Love the pastries and bread, I don’t go to Plant 4 Bowden often but when I do this is my first stop before they sell out

The Lost Loaf has so many delicious breads, tarts and danishes but I can never go past their sourdough baguettes. And I have to limit the amount of times that I visit because that baguette loaded with good quality butter never lasts long. When you visit there will be queues but it moves quickly so you wont be waiting long and you will be greeted with a friendly smile and some great products at the end!

My mission in life it to find the best artisan bakeries in Australia and The Lost Loaf is one of them. For everyone who have had French pastries in France you probably rave about how good it was and flaky the croissants were, The Lost Loaf has nailed it. Now I have lost the count of how many times I have been here because I have never ever had anything below average, everything is perfect. The croissants, the almond croissants, creme brulee donunts, pistachio scrolls, the peanut cookies and the baguettes are absolutely amazing and leave you wanting to come back for more. It is amazing that this bakery is always consistent which is proved by the long lines they have and how quickly everything sells out before lunchtime or sometimes at 11am. Honestly if you want to try their stuff get in early and make sure you don't eat dinner the night before so you can eat your way through their pastries.

Food is nice. However, most of the items are sold out 3 hours before the closing time. If after 12, probably don’t even bother to go there, as only loafs of bread are left.
