REPAIR REVIEW: My claddagh ring had a thin band that had snapped for the second time. They replaced it with a new half shank and it's a *stunning* repair job. You can't tell at all that it's been repaired, except for the fact that it's now a lot sturdier. They cleaned and polished it as well and it looks so beautiful, I'm overjoyed! This is an incredibly precious piece of jewellery to me and I'm so glad that they treated it so well, and with quite a quick turnaround too (one week).

This place is like the kind of jewelers you'd go to with your family as a kid. Lovely and vintage in vibe. Unfortunately some of the staff have gotten pretty set in their ways only really dealing with regulars, and they've become quite rude to others. Both times I've visited this store I've had a staff member go from helping a customer who they know with a smile, to then be greeted in a cold semi-hostile way. Maybe being a 40 year old man means I'm not their client base, but I definitely don't appreciate being treated this way. I won't go back.

Would have to say the best and most professional Jewellers I have had the pleasure to deal with. After an incident out of my control they assisted me with the exchange procedure and were so professional and caring. Can not recommend them enough.

Couldn't help . By fixing a simple band on a watch . Yet they state they service and do repairs . No wonder prouds and Angus and cootes are getting a heap of customers. So sad really

Came in to get a charm bracelet and a pair of earrings cleaned. They did a great job. They also ensured that the work was done as a priority to meet my own deadline, would recommend.

I went in over the weekend to discuss having a ring made and was completely ignored by the staff. Didn't even look at me let alone say hello. I was in there for around 10 minutes before I left and went to a much friendlier jeweller who will be custom making my ring for me.

I have had terribly poor customer service. After two months of waiting for a valuable watch of my deceased mother's to be repaired - it remains unrepaired. This is despite initially being quoted a fair price with an indication of a relatively straight forward repair, expected within a week or two. At no point was I contacted for updates by staff - I needed to initiate contact each time. I needed to ask for the watch back at the 2 month mark as I was concerned at the process on an expensive, sentimental piece. So disappointed. Had provided written email to management seeking an explanation of this and nearly one week later on collection of my watch - I still have not had the courtesy of a reply. Dreadful.

Just bought my wedding band from Allan Bros Jewellers after looking around at many others. I was that happy with the service from Rosemary and the ring she made that it stuck with me while I was looking at others and decided it more than worth it to drive over an hour each way to go back and buy it. Great experience, will definitely be recommending Rosemary and the team at Allan Bros!

Be very sure about any lay buys you do. I had something on laybuy for 2 weeks and circumstances changed They kept my 20% Deposit over $300. My receipt was ripped where the layby terms were so didnt know and wasnt advised at the time.
