I used to be with dvjs and they merged with this?? horrible decision I can't get help now

It was DVJS Glen Waverley who helped my son get his first job. The dedication and passion they have to help has been amazing. It has been two years and they continue to support him and give him confidence in his ability. This team never gives up till they know they have found the right job and they continue to follow through and make sure he is happy in his work place. They are so friendly that Dillon has no issues communicating his concerns if he has any. They are an amazing team.

I've been with this agency since high school in 2013, six years now and the ongoing support has been impeccable. The loving and caring staff have helped me over the years with numerous tasks, such as securing long term employment, mental and emotional support, setting me up with college courses, accompanying me to Centrelink appointments, fortnightly check in's as well as the occasional coffee catch up. I can't thank them enough for continually looking after me and helping me. Thank you DVJS.

Very helpful. They take the time to get you into a job of your choosing rather than forcing you to take one that is unsuitable. The staff are friendly and most have differently abled children so they know the struggles such people go through.

I suffered a mental injury at work 10 years ago. I had returned to paid work at a much lower level of capacity ( due to my injury) but was still struggling with the stigma surrounding mental injury and didn’t feel supported in that respect by my employer at the time. I felt stuck, had lost all confidence in my professional capacity and was dealing with a tremendous amount of grief at my misfortune.At first I wasn’t sure if DVJS Glen Waverley was the right place for me to be turning to for support. I had no prior knowledge of disability employment services, if anything I believed that they mostly assisted clients that had a pre-disposed physical and/or intellectual disability ergo, not workplace related injuries.I couldn’t have been more wrong.From my first meeting, I was welcomed with open arms. I knew I had come to the right place. I felt respected and understood. Every single member of the team is so personable and engaging - even if sometimes I just go in for a chat! They have also been there for long talks on the phone with me when I’ve hit a bump in the road...I have been working with the wonderful team at DVJS for about 2 years now and, with their compassion and guidance, I am slowly starting to rebuild my shattered confidence and look forward to one day achieving my career dream of returning to my pre-injury field of work.
