Amazing free camp! Dont let the corrugated road deter you. Massive clearing in a true bush setting with basic infrastructure. Loved the bucket shower!

A little out of town but a great spot, fire wood a little hard to find on the grounds, just stop and pick up some on the way. Drop toilets clean, rain water tank for washing hands.Seems popular with school groups but they were on the larger open areas and a lot of fun and quiet after 10pm.

@The_Alpha_AdventurerGreat Campground!Came down for the Easter Long Weekend. It was quite full to say the least being a popular camping area however the grounds were well kept and regularly patrolled by Parks Victoria.A number of bays for the larger Camper Trailers and Caravans as well as some smaller car based bays for tents and such.There are drop toilets available and a tank of non potable water for washing.Definitely will be stopping by again. Hopefully on a quieter weekend.

It's a very beautiful camp ground with heaps of space for camping. I think its one of a big camping site as far i visited with a natural beauty. Highly recommended.

For a quick trip to escape the city rush we love coming here. Great areas to pull up and plenty of space. They have a shower which you supply your own water if you dont wanna use the bore water and drop toilets. Close to halls gap if you do run out of food also.

Free Camp area in the wilderness where the wallabies knock on your tent or caravan door. Simple facilities are available in clean conditions.We will see how the night will be.

For a free camp ground its pretty good, got to travel on corrugated dirt road to get there.They have a bucket shower, 3 drop toilets, and plenty of space, you can't camp right next to your car but its still reasonable close.Would highly recommend going when its not summer, as during summer, all the shaded areas are taken so your left in the unshaded area, which can be quite bad.

Decent campground, about 7km on corrugated dirt road to get there, but there's a couple of drop toilets, a bucket shower and plenty of space, although you can't camp directly next to your car. There's even a helipad!! We camped near people in campers so everyone was nice and quiet, there were no Cockatoos apart from gang gangs, but the kookaburras do go off first thing. Nice views of the mountain too.

One of my favourite Grampians campsites, which is also free... not requiring a booking through ParksVic. Best to avoid on popular public holidays, such as Easter, otherwise get in early! Bring your own firewood.
