Eildon Parkview Motor Inn

We had a really comfortable stay. A lovely view out onto the lawn with birds in the trees. The owner had the heater on when we arrived which we really appreciated in 3 degrees and thick fog. Good recommendations about finding dinner and groceries. A friendly cat. We'd stay again

No heating in the main room and the one in the bedroom only heated the bedroom. Lollies were found under shelving, the grassed area was used to enjoy feeding the birds, this time we had to watch where we walked as there were dog droppings. Our family used to stay here every 6 months David and Di were amazing hosts. Sad to see the motel this way

Wasn't expecting much but pleasantly surprised with the room, service & facilities.(The pic of bed was taken before leaving so a bit messy but it was properly done when checking in)It was pouring rain & cold but as we stepped in our room; the AC heat was already on! which literally made us feel so welcome & warm. Bed, sofa, floors, bathroom, kitchen all looked clean and there was enough clean towels & extra blankets for everyone. I could be wrong but felt like some things were new. Such as the shower head, matching paintings on the wall & bed linen, double curtains with airy white one, and the extra blankets.Room also came with ensuite and full featured kitchen. Although we didn't cook, while making tea & snack; noticed the kettle, microwave all were in working order & clean inside out. You could also order the breakfast here.They even had some bird food in a little bucket for us. So we could feed them in the morning. Check out the pics!And lastly you'll be in walking distance from Elidon bakery and not far from the Rubicon bistro & elidon town too.With all of the above, it is fair to say this place was a great find and easily could charge way more than what we paid.

Despite showing its age, this motel provided us with the expected level of comfort and value for money. The unit was a good size and clean. The kitchen was well equipped for independent travellers. We were able to prepare a simple meal without any difficulty. There is a bbq at the rear of the room with outdoor dining furniture. The open brick walls make the room seem dark, particularly the shower and toilet areas. The bed was too soft for our comfort - if one of us moved, we would disturb the other. The duvet cover was very heavy.The staff/managers/owners were outstanding - very friendly and helpful with local information. It is conveniently located within a short walking distance from shops including a small supermarket.

No reception on check in... the personal service is missing. No one there to ask questions about Eildon. Rooms are dated. We got one toilet roll for 3 nights stay. Will not recommend to friends and family.

A bit outdated but clean, comfy and good value for money. There are about 3 BBQs for guests to use and there are visits from the friendly birds which is lovely to hear in the evening. Very close to some beautiful lookouts and only a short walk to the small town center

One of the best motor inns we have stayed in. Would highly recommend to everyone who is holidaying around eildon. David was very welcoming and had the heater going. lovely garden view and really clean room and beds. Thanks would definitely be staying here again soon.

Great motel 100m from the town centre. Rooms clean and tidy, parkland out the back is great, tables and chairs, 2 x BBQs, heaps of parrots, cockies, kookas and magpies. Hosts Di and David are fantastic and love a chat too. Brekky served to the room and was still hot. Been there several times before a.and will go again. Rooms not expensive for what you get.

If you think about location this is one of the great and affordable accommodation around Lake Eildon. Just 50 m from the police station and 3 minutes walk to the main shopping strip where you can get your groceries and all the food you need.The check-in and check-out process is very good and easy. Heating and cooling is excellent, beds are cosy and warm. Linen and towels are supplied. The main problem is you have very limited supplies,like toilet papers, no facial tissue at all. And you don't have anyone to call easily for supply. The common laundry was locked at night when we arrived and no access was possible. It only have one washer, probably coin operated, but not clean. Housekeepers are good and cooperative. We described detailed but we will go there again just to feed the birds. That's just at the backyard and they supply some grains to feed them. Very reasonable and affordable price. Recommended.

Above Average motel bed. Decent shower. Microwave, tv, fridge.5 stars for the birds. About a dozen cockatoos and two King parrots came out early afternoon. They loved birdseed and bananas and would eat out of your hand
