I've had a good experience from a wonderful gentleman here before and the front staff are generally okay as well.However, some days I think the staff are jusr downright rude and actually try to make things harder than they should.When you are introduced to someone firstly they should always give their name: this wasn't the case with the service officer we had today who was either trying to shame my autistic 16yr old or myself or both of us.When we asked her name she pretended to not hear us and as someone with only 67% hearing I found this appalling. She was extremely rude to us and completely wasted our time.While trying to explain to her that like family assistance office Queensland Education have actually gone digital using OneSchool for all school transcripts she refused to accept this. I showed her (as did my son) but she implied we were lying!When I told her no we had no we had not received a year 10 certificate because year 10 is actually part of senior education she actually scoffed. Seriously!?!At the end she would not give us a receipt number as apparently it wasn't appropriate yet I need it because I was told over the phone that the identification I had was enough and according to the document I received an academic transcript is enough. Because of the woeful staff member we spent the day (my child extremely anxious about having the day off school) trying to get proper identification.I rang up to complain about the rude service we received but was told I needed the service officer's name of a receipt number. When I explained to Disability services that we weren't given either when asked, I was assured they would endeavour to find out.Do not treat me like a second class citizen when firstly claiming carer's allowance for someone with autism is acceptable and secondly I'm not a dole bludger and don't appreciate being treated as such5

In 20yrs of contact centre industry work, I have never experienced such an unhelpful IVR... there has been no consideration whatsoever... this is just too ironic coming from Human Services... hilarious...infuriating, but hilarious

If I could give negative 1 million stars, I would. Absolute waste of my time. I did the exact same claim in 2020 and I got my payments and went on with my life. Now that I have a partner, they are going off what he earns. HES MY PARTNER NOT MY FINANCIAL SECURITY. I AM MY OWN PERSON WITH MY OWN BILLS WHO NEEDS MONEY TO LIVE!!! They wonder why people get so frustrated with them on the phones and in person. They don’t want to help you.

Whats with the centerlink security dude...hes upset because my 3 y/o todler refuses to sit on seat properly...is he on a power trip or just stupid to think 3 year olds do as there told.Would understand if he was being hypo,disruptive annoying or damaging the chair but getting upset because hes being a todler is pathetic...

Horrible service. Not entirely the customer service peoples fault, blame the gov more for the bureaucracy and invasion of people lives with all associated services required these days. The service team obviously had been taking S%#@ all day due to angry people. I was the last of the day and they were straight on attack over my basic enquiries.

I’m a war refugee and I want to say thank you to all the staff of this office because they helped me so many times while I was struggling with understanding the system/getting payments. I don’t feel alone in this. These people are the best and I can call them safe community.If you experienced bad treatment here — the problem is you, trust me! Don’t be rude.

All the staff working here are so unfriendly your way of talking has offended me so much.I know how stressful your work is, but it is the attitude of government officials that you should not express that to anyone.Am I being treated that way because I am not an English-speaking person? As an immigrant, I feel really sorry whenever I meet people like you while living in this country.

Some of the ones that work here are just plain nasty and rude . One woman can't remember her name really needs a talking to she is nasty rude and it all goes to there heads.

After getting stuffed around for over 2 months to get my youth allowance/ job seeker claim approved I told one of the workers there of my frustrations. She then told me a bunch of lies saying that she will “personally” get my claim processed and approved by the afternoon and will give me a call. It’s now been a week since then. Never happened. Full of empty promises.
